lakeside tavern

loved it!!. tonight was our first visit to lakeside tavern and we were impressed!! the food was exceptional, theservicewas great and the setting is beautiful. we will definitely be returning.

not the best service. every time i go there, the bar is empty and theserviceis poor. the bartenders are more interested in chatting up other folks. i tip well but the last time was the straw that makes me not want to go back. i ordered a salad and drink. i asked for bread, which is what made me go there in the first place, and by the time i had finished my meal, i still had not been given any bread. i only asked the bartender and 2 waiters about 5 times.

consitantly consitant. this is my goto when i want a sure thing, good service, good food and good atmosphere. the room is a little noisy something that i notice is becoming popular again in restaurants. the food is alway prepared perfectly, theserviceis prompt but not hovering and overall the value is very good. call ahead to limit your wait.

very impressed!servicewas excellent and food was amazing. i always order my steaks well-done and it was perfect. not burnt and very tender!

awful service!. my boyfriend and i took his mom out to dinner to lakeside tavern. she was in town from north carolina and was staying in farragut with my boyfriend's brother so i said, "i've never been to lakeside, let's take her there for dinner!" upon arrival, we were greeted and things were awesome. we intended to dine in the lounge which we were told was "first come, first serve seating." after being greeted by two servers, and told that happy hour and $3 off appetizers only lasted 20 more minutes, we had to go up to the bar and order our appetizers (as 20 minutes almost went by without our server coming back and taking our order.) and also we needed to order another round of drinks before happy hour ended at 7. we would not have had to be so rushed if our server would have at least come by after she told us the features. after we walking up to the bar and ordered our drinks and appetizers ourselves, no one, i'm talking not even one server came to our booth. we were on our own for the next hour. dirty dishes, empty glasses and all. this was supposed to be a nice dinner and we ended up not even getting a chance to order dinner because of the horrificservicewe received. we got 2 appetizers between the three of us and then left without even getting a chance to order dinner, because literally no server took the time to stop at our table? thanks for nothing, lakeside tavern. we will not be back!

best of tennessee. this is an amazing place for brunch, lunch, or dinner. theserviceis great, the view beautiful, and the food is delicious. try the strawberry cake! i have never had a bad experience, and i visit at least once a week. love it!

sadservice& mediocre food but great view of the lake!. it is a very nice location and the restaurant itself is very nice overlooking the lake. i live close by so it is convenient and i have been there many times with my family. sadly, the food is painfully mediocre and the majority of the wait staff are teenagers who are more interested in standing around the wait-stations texting on their cellphones, rather than providing adequateserviceto patrons who would gladly leave good tips, if theservicereflects accordingly. sad that obviously the manager can't hire quality wait staff. i'm sure his choices are limited. that's one sad indication of our society in west knoxville. sadly a lot of people have a bad impression of west knoxville as consisting of snobs and young people who aren't raised with any manners. sadly lakeside tavern is an example of this.

one of our favorites. we frequently eat here for lunch during the week and have always found the food to be excellent and theserviceoutstanding. the bread is among the best in knoxville and our servers frequently offer us more to take home. it would be hard to beat the location and the ambiance. it is a 40 minute drive from our home to reach this restaurant, but always worth the drive!

two words: average and overpriced. theserviceis poor. the food is mediocre at best. in fact, the only good thing about this restaurant is the location. if you decide to go, you will get betterserviceinside. the best part of this restaurant is the patio and it is completely neglected. final words... you can't mess up a beer so go for a drink and end it there. eat at connor's. it has greatserviceand better food.

food is the major flaw. goodserviceand great location and ambiance. ribs are some of the worst i've ever had(very very tough) and steak salad was a blue cheese overload. rest of the food is average at best.
