crcii. can be good, can be bad. trouble is, you never know as there is no consistency! i have had their sunday brunch twice and both times weregoodwith a nice selection.

crcii. i have been here several times because i'm close and like the idea of it. sadly you never know what to expect! one time it isgoodand the next time it is horrible! there is absolutely no consistency at all here. it's a shame cause it's a beautiful place for a restaurant!

chuck. talk about inconsistency! you never know what you are going to get. one time the food is good, next time it is horrible! same with service! great atmosphere! it's a shame they can't get it right!

i have been to lakeside a dozen times and never written a review. they have awesome chicken tenders, salmon or several other dishes. the bread is to die for and their brunch is almost asgoodas copper cellar. the only thing i have not been impressed with is their steaks. you also can't beat the view.

consitantly consitant. this is my goto when i want a sure thing,goodservice,goodfood andgoodatmosphere. the room is a little noisy something that i notice is becoming popular again in restaurants. the food is alway prepared perfectly, the service is prompt but not hovering and overall the value is very good. call ahead to limit your wait.

delicious food with large servings! too many ppl though so i had to wait forever to get a table. overallgoodexperience!

great view and interesting menu. to start i suggest that you ask to be seated as high up in the dinning room you can if possible to allow for a best view of the river and surroundings. although i did not one may eat outside and provide probably an even better view.
i like variety in the places i go to eat and they had that here. appetizers and dishes were not overwhelming in the options but certainty lareg enough to make you think about what you might have.

i had the app of asparagus and it was frankly too large for one person. deep fried and served with a fairly spicy sauce it was very tastey. for the entree i had the chicken , which was described as a house specialty. althoughgoodit was not great but i think that i may have misread the description and was expecting more of a chicken breat filet rather than a bone in breast. in any event it was covered in an onion gravy over mashed poatoes.goodregardless of my earlier thought.

pricing was very similiar to that of parkside tavern that i understand is in the same family.

great view of lake, yummy food. great apps, juicy steaks, fresh salads, delicious pasta. something for everyone. been here many times, never a bad meal, always speedy service. beautiful lake view!goodwith big groups or date night. love this place!

sad service & mediocre food but great view of the lake!. it is a very nice location and the restaurant itself is very nice overlooking the lake. i live close by so it is convenient and i have been there many times with my family. sadly, the food is painfully mediocre and the majority of the wait staff are teenagers who are more interested in standing around the wait-stations texting on their cellphones, rather than providing adequate service to patrons who would gladly leavegoodtips, if the service reflects accordingly. sad that obviously the manager can't hire quality wait staff. i'm sure his choices are limited. that's one sad indication of our society in west knoxville. sadly a lot of people have a bad impression of west knoxville as consisting of snobs and young people who aren't raised with any manners. sadly lakeside tavern is an example of this.

not agoodchoice for 10 or more people. we had a party of 12 and when we call they said they could take care of that and they had a table for 12 no problem. when we got there they told us it would be a 2 hour wait. we reminded them that we had call two weeks ago and a gain call ahead as they had requested.
they said there parkside grill had a table of 12 and we could go there. this is after an hour wait. we go to parkside and guess what they do not have the table we have been promised. please tell the people who have large parties that you cannot sit together when they call. we did get free appetizers.

experience bothgoodand not-so-good. my lady friend and i had the occasion to visit this establishment in mid-january. we both ordered the concord salad which we found to be great-tasting but too large to eat in one sitting. a smaller version at a lower price would have been preferrable.
their drinks however is another matter. we found them overpriced. $2.49 for an iced tea? (which they never bothered to refill, btw) and $7.50 for a long island tea?? come on, do they think that is a reasonable price?
it's location on a warm and sunny day is unequaled but does not justify the prices.

unfortunate.... friends took me to lakeside tavern for lunch on my birthday and it was a disappointment. we sat on the lovely patio over looking the lake and i was looking forward to an equally lovely lunch. it was not meant to be. the menu had recently changed and i ordered the cobb salad. it was too large and not prepared very well. the dressing was gelatinous and syrupy sweet. somtimes they get things right and then sometimes they don't. it's a shame that such a beautiful restaurant can't make consistentlygoodfood...

two words: average and overpriced. the service is poor. the food is mediocre at best. in fact, the onlygoodthing about this restaurant is the location. if you decide to go, you will get better service inside. the best part of this restaurant is the patio and it is completely neglected. final words... you can't mess up a beer so go for a drink and end it there. eat at connor's. it has great service and better food.

food is the major flaw.goodservice and great location and ambiance. ribs are some of the worst i've ever had(very very tough) and steak salad was a blue cheese overload. rest of the food is average at best.
