i saw 4.8 rating and went to the place. being a rajasthani, i didn't find the dal baati as good. i had good expectations which couldn't be completed.

overrated! overrated!
don't understand why one would go here. 250 bucks is too much for what they offer. instead one could sample other local dishes.

this was my first time with this cuisine and my brother strongly suggested this place. and i was blown away by the kind of taste they could bring into simple vegetarian food.
the staff and manager are very very courteous and they make every visit worth it. the enquire of the meal and stand to tell the stories.

fan of dal bati or not, go here to try and love something new.

one of the best traditional food i had this time.

never been to this place before but it was worth trying in the city of lakes.

not to mention every items what i had as it is already there in the picture.

heavenly “dal-bati” with mouth-melting “churma” 😍♥️

as already many people have tried but when in udaipur don’t miss out this place.

first i enter a place smaling is wow.... munh me pani as gya...... then they serve dal bati thali it's superb dal bati churma gate ka saagh chatni papad chach salad with ghee. ghee serve seperetly... it was aewosome food...

a good place to try out authentic rajasthani food like dal bati churma etc. quantity in a thali is more than enough for one. but good part is you can share a thali.

little way off the main road, this restaurant is a no-nonsense experience for proper dal bati churma.
there's no menu, no variety of options to choose from, no decisions required, all this in a good sense.
you go in, get seated, get served. the quality of the thali is amazing; bati crushed by the hands of expert waiter sides with dal, gatta ki curry, churma, salad, papad and chaach, all unlimited.
highly recommend to visit this place if you're touring udaipur.

only rajasthani thalis are available here. unlimited and cannot be shared. the cost seems reasonable at rs 250 per thali. worth a visit if you are interested in a thali. dishes included in the thali are dal bhati and gatte ki subzi apart from this u get pickles, salad, papad, churma and buttermilk.

a great place to be if you’re looking to feast on genuine dal baati choorma prepared and served in rajasthani style.
the restaurant is very simple in every manner- from its decor and ambiance to its choice of dishes offered. this place saves you from the troubles of making choices as there is no menu card! all you can have is the dal bati choorma thali. the thali comprises of superb baati, gatte ki sabji, dal, salad, papad, green and red chutneys, choorma and rice. there is no restriction on the quantity of anything you want to have, just that every person has to have his own thali. also, not hard on the pocket as a thali costs ₹250.
tip: mix everything that is served and have it with your hand:)

excellent food.... and service maza aa gya highly recommend. this place for dal bati churma..... no any one for dal bati in udaipur..... must be visit..

this place serves the best bati i have ever had. it's a simple and small place but their service is pretty good. they only serve 1 type of thali which is their bati special thali and the cost is rs.250. their bati preparation method is different than most of the restaurants, which makes this place special. dal and gatta sabji taste awesome. the churma has sesame seeds which is a flavorful addition. 
i highly recommend going to this place for authentic bati experience. :)

really loved the food here. this place only serves a dal bati thali. i loved the churma. the staff.is very friendly and treat you and feed you like their family. would definitely visit again.

on my visit with family to udaipur last month we had been recommended to try this restaurant for the famous dal bati churma. the place was full and had a bit of waiting. however since their service is fast, we dint have to wait for too long. it was my first time to try this dish and loved every bit of it. great service, amazing food and very clean as well. a must try when in udaipur.

a treat for daal baati lovers...

daal baati is originally rajasthani cuisine so it was a must try on my udaipur visit..

krishna daalbaati resto is a very famous place to try it out. every cab driver knows the place and it was accentuated in the ndtv program regarding famous food joints.

the ambiance is traditional and the place is bit interior from lake palace road. they only serves unlimited daal baati at their hotel for 250 rs.

the taste of daal baati is stupendous, baati was so soft and tasted so delicious with the proper amount of ghee. they serve besan gatta and 3 types of chutneys. they say that the right way to eat it is pour ghee, daal and besan gatta on baati then sprinkle all 3 chutneys and mix it. they also serve churma as a sweet dish.
