we ordered rajasthan dal bati thali. menu in thali were less . all aregoodexcept besan gatta. and its overpriced too. dal bati wasgoodloaded with lots of desi ghee. ambience is relaxed and calm.

awesome place to have traditional dal bati at a reasonable rate. food 10/10, interiors 10/10, services 10/10.goodfood. really enjoyed it. worth visiting.

when in rajasthan, a rajasthani thaali is a must!
visited krishna dal bati restro for their unlimited rajasthani thali.
dal bati, gatte ki sabji, choorma, chaach, papad, chutneys and so much more!
we were served so well, the options, the taste and proper hygiene was maintained throughout.
overall, i loved the whole setup of the place, the food wasgoodtoo (unlike most unlimited options we get where taste is compromised).
although it is not located around the streets of city palace or in that area, it is well connected and you can take auto/cab to reach there.

a great place to enjoygooddaal bhati in nondescript lanes of udaipur. forget the fancy ambience but go for the food ... you will not regret.

krishna dal bati served the best bati i have ever tasted. the sweet churma was my favourite, made with organic jaggery. the flavours of the food were very authentic, the entire platter made me experiencegoodquality and fresh ingredients. i visited the place with my family and had a very warm welcome and courteous service. it was easy to located and had a very peaceful surrounding in the old city. can't wait to visit the place again!

this place specializes in dal bhati churma because of which we decided to visit here .
it was my first time of dal bhati churma . the ambience isgoodand tge service is prompt . tricky to locate the place though .
they serve unlimited dal bhati for 250/- per person which is a steal .

udaipur is famous for it's authentic rajasthani food and dal bhati is one of them. after along search we came to know about this restuarant. it's situated in the old udaipur city in a very cosy place. seating arrangements here are quite nice with rajasthani decors all over. they serve only dal bhati thali which you'll get for rs 250 per head unlimited.
the thali consists of dal, crispy bhaati with lots of ghee, gatte ki sabji, salad, garlic chutney, green pudina chutney, simla mirch sabji, papad, a glass of chaas and churma laddoo as a sweet dessert. they also serve rice if needed.

overall the thali wasgoodbut can be more spicy. chaas was wonderful. the service here is also pretty good.

recommended if you want to try mild taste of rajasthani dal bhati.

we've visited this place after looking at thegoodratings and reviews online. as name suggests, the restaurant only serves all you can eat dal bati churma with rice and buttermilk. the crushed bati topped with generous amount of ghee and dal will certainly fill you sooner than expected. you might have to wait for a table during peak lunch hours.

we wanted to sample some authentic local cuisine and someone suggested we try out this dal bati place. we went there only to find this was nothing like what we have eaten in mumbai. this place just serves dal bati along with some churma, gatte ki subzi and some capsicum subzi. the manager suggested we mix all of them together, ditch the cutlery and enjoy it with our hands and that was fingerlickinggoodin a literal sense ...the food is not heavy on the stomach as i had initially expected , batis were not soaked in ghee like one would imagine, the gatte ki subzi was quite differently prepared from what i've eaten at the usual thali chains at mumbai and had a beautiful flavor. the food was absolutely fresh, filled with simple flavors but delightful on the palette! i would say it is a must visit place for anyone visiting udaipur

went to this restaurant during my trip to udaipur based on its rating on zomato. however, it was very disappointing. they have a thaali consisting of daal, baati, churma, gatte ki sabzi, garlic chutney.

the food was below average. daal was bland in taste, gatte ki sabzi was sweet. it is definitely not worth 250.
many people in the restaurant complained about the taste, to which the owner's response was "it is authentic and we can't please everyone"

there was also rice served to some tables. we had our lunch and while paying the bill, asked about the rice, he said "we only serve rice to those who ask". i believed this was not fair since we weren't informed about it.

i was shocked to see such behaviour in such a high rated restaurant.

then the owner said, " i'll give you 10 percent discount if you rate 5 stars on zomato".

there are much better places in udaipur forgooddaal baati. avoid this one.

we kept hearing about this place from a lot of people like our tour guide, security wala, hotel staff, auto wala so we decided we should head and there and check it out for ourselves. hailing from chennai the only place we have hadgooddal bati was from a restaurant called rajdhani hence we had little to no expectation on how good/different this could be. but guys when we had the first bite of the dal bati we were absolutely lost as it was so different to what we had back home. the churma here was the cherry on the cake :)

do not miss this place !

the only reason for one star is coz they have ac, it's in some kopcha and is clean but anyone who's ever hadgoodbaati before pls don't don't go. they are famous coz they have autowalo se commission fixed so each autowala will recommend the best place to eat.. nonetheless the food is extremely average. u get much better baati at bhagattarachand.

after high expectations for dal bhakti shurma , first meal in the land of king forts, got disappointed, may be there food isgood, but the thali meals tasted so sweet for me ,
expect dal.
