great customer service as we’d read from all the reviews. they went out of their way to accommodate our needs, especially with a young child.

i had a vegetarian bibimbap and ordered tofu instead of meat. my fussy 5yo had the chicken bites and left only a few pieces behind.

enjoyed the meal - therestaurantwas quickly packed on a friday night when the surrounding restaurants were dead. please we read the reviews and may even head back before we leave dunedin!

this koreanrestauranton george st serves a good variety of korean essentials. bibimbap, bulgogi, kimchi pancake, spicy pork grill etc. not the most elegant and romantic place for a date but best perhaps for an easy weeknight dinner. the banchan (side dishes) is yummy but not the most exciting combination.

this is a fantasticrestaurantfor authentic korean dishes. the food is exceptional and the service is fast and friendly. the only thing to knock off a point for is the dated decor and atmosphere; it is a stereotypically dingy looking (but clean) asianrestauranton an out of the way street. however the food is amazing and well worth the detour.

awesome littlerestauranton george street. the waiter is very friendly and helpful. three of us shared fried tofu, chicken wings, pan fried dumplings, bbq beef with kimchi and chicken noodles with fish cakes. everything was so delicious especially the bbq beef and i loved the texture of the noodles and the fresh capsic with it. the dumplings were nicer then chinese ones. would love to come back

i had a fabulous meal (bulgogi) and the service was excellent. i thought i received good value too. my only regret: i wish they offered a larger size. i love bulgogi but two orders would have been too much and one serving left me wanting more. i highly recommend thisrestaurantand will definitely return.

bestrestaurantin regina. this is regina's hidden gem, and best kept secret. so many people are afraid to try korean food, when it really is just rice, meat and veggies for the most part. the hot stone bee bim bop is a good place to start if you don't know what to order. cover it in the sauce they bring out and enjoy! best dish in the city.

nice service, solid food. the restaurant, albeit not at the greatest part of the city, is pretty plain but looks clean and the staff are very pleasant. on one side of the restaurant, there are tables with gas grills on them for korean barbeque (marinated beef, marinated chicken, squid, and pork belly are the main meat choices that can be cooked on the table). the other side of therestaurantdoes not have the grills. the menu is fairly extensive and food is very solid. looking through the photos that are uploaded on this site gives a pretty good sense of the menu. i have not had anything there that was disappointing but i also have not had anything that absolutely knocked my socks off. the prices are very reasonable. this is not a bad place to go in order to satisfy a craving for korean cuisine. the only other place in the city with some korean dishes of this caliber (that i am aware of) is orange izakaya (but orange izakaya is more of a fusion place and korea house has a far more extensive selection of specifically korean cuisine than does orange izakaya).

i was impressed with this place! food is excellent - maybe not the biggest selection you can see in a koreanrestaurantin for instance, vancouver or toronto, but it does the job. the owner and servers are very nice people and quite accommodating. i had seafood pancake which was crispy on outside and chewy inside. the bean paste soup is quite good too. i love the kimchi made there. the owner does it right!

the service was very good. the pan fried dumpings are probably the best i've ever had. we both decided to try something new, my husband had hot plate bee bim bob which he found to have a distinct flavor he could not explain. he gave it a 7/10.
i tried the chicken kat. it taste like over-fried mcdonald's chicken nuggets in bbq sauce served over rice.

overall: service, menu, taste, atmosphere... we finally agree. we would both give therestauranta 6/10. will we return? perhaps.

excellent food!!. korea house may not be the most well known place, or the best looking for establishments, but the food speaks volumes about how excellent this place is.
the menu is varied and contains many items for different tastes, listed both in korean as well as english.
from their tempura, to the gyoza like "man-doo"; to the more well known bulgogi and kimchi dishes; nothing fails to impress.
what seems like a mom and pop shop with only a few workers that can get overwhelmed when therestaurantis full; the food is well worth any wait you may have!

i've taken many friends and family to korea house and every one of them has wanted to go back for more!

superb food, and worth checking out to try something new! don't be afraid to ask for extra spicey! it's even better!
