nice service, solid food. the restaurant, albeit not at the greatest part of the city, is pretty plain but looks clean and the staff are very pleasant. on one side of the restaurant, there are tables with gas grills on them for korean barbeque (marinated beef, marinated chicken, squid, and pork belly are the main meat choices that can be cooked on the table). the other side of therestaurantdoes not have the grills. the menu is fairly extensive and food is very solid. looking through the photos that are uploaded on this site gives a pretty good sense of the menu. i have not had anything there that was disappointing but i also have not had anything that absolutely knocked my socks off. the prices are very reasonable. this is not a bad place to go in order to satisfy a craving for korean cuisine. the only other place in the city with some korean dishes of this caliber (that i am aware of) is orange izakaya (but orange izakaya is more of a fusion place and korea house has a far more extensive selection of specifically korean cuisine than does orange izakaya).
