super yummy!. upon recommendation from a friend and after reading reviews of this site i decided to give korea house a try.

awesome meal.

we ordered the hot stone bi bim bap ($12.99) and it was huge! the veggies were delicious and the pot sizzling just like a like it. the menu listed on urban spoon is a bit out of date, the dishes are around $1-3 more expensive, but still well worth the price (especially the bi bim bap).

we also order the korean pancake and the chicken+beef bulgogi. the pancake was yummy and crispy, perhaps a touch on the salty side, but i still really enjoyed it.

i was skeptical of thisplaceat first due to it's exterior, but i'm happy i gave it a shot. the service was tentative, a real mom and pop kind of place.

i will be going here again.

this korean restaurant on george st serves a good variety of korean essentials. bibimbap, bulgogi, kimchi pancake, spicy pork grill etc. not the most elegant and romanticplacefor a date but best perhaps for an easy weeknight dinner. the banchan (side dishes) is yummy but not the most exciting combination.

ate here a few nights ago. theplaceis in a bit of a rough neighborhood, in regina's so-called chinatown, and it doesn't look like much on the outside. dont let that stop you. the inside is quite a bit nicer, and it was decently busy for a weeknight.

service was friendly and attentive, but i'm a foodie - and it's for the food that you should go here. i had the soup combo with kimchi and pork soup. it came with two banchan (a sweet, saucy potato dish, and a salad of bean sprouts), as well as a small bowl of kimchi. the kimchi was made in-house, and was excellent. the soup was delicious, and all together it was just the right amount of food.

frankly, i left there with a thought about swearing off other regina restaurants all together, but better sense and my taste for variety prevailed. i am already planning my next trip back though.

everything is really delicious here! i have a lot of favorite dishes here including the gamja tang, beef bulgogi, dolsot bibimbap, japchae and dwen jang combo. the korean bbq is also really delicious! the only downsides are that the service can be a little slow (but that is only because there is one server working at a time, so i understand!) and that the price is a little bit too high (which is really sad for me since i would love to come to thisplacemore frequently).

my go toplacefor korean food in the city. they have the option for you to have korean bbq and that is a hit for me. they also have great dishes on the menu. i recommend coming here and trying the kim chi combo and the bbq.

best restaurant in regina. this is regina's hidden gem, and best kept secret. so many people are afraid to try korean food, when it really is just rice, meat and veggies for the most part. the hot stone bee bim bop is a goodplaceto start if you don't know what to order. cover it in the sauce they bring out and enjoy! best dish in the city.

nice service, solid food. the restaurant, albeit not at the greatest part of the city, is pretty plain but looks clean and the staff are very pleasant. on one side of the restaurant, there are tables with gas grills on them for korean barbeque (marinated beef, marinated chicken, squid, and pork belly are the main meat choices that can be cooked on the table). the other side of the restaurant does not have the grills. the menu is fairly extensive and food is very solid. looking through the photos that are uploaded on this site gives a pretty good sense of the menu. i have not had anything there that was disappointing but i also have not had anything that absolutely knocked my socks off. the prices are very reasonable. this is not a badplaceto go in order to satisfy a craving for korean cuisine. the only otherplacein the city with some korean dishes of this caliber (that i am aware of) is orange izakaya (but orange izakaya is more of a fusionplaceand korea house has a far more extensive selection of specifically korean cuisine than does orange izakaya).

plus they use normal white rice not the awful purple stuff. will definitely go back next time i am in dunedin.

so unbelievably good!. we went to korea house after seeing the extremely high rating it received on urbanspoon. we both love korean food, and decided to give thisplacea try. as the other reviews say, it isn't anything fancy. it's a jeans and t-shirt kind ofplacewith a definite café feel to it. personally, that is one of the things i love most about it. the food has been amazing every time we have gone, and the server is extremely friendly. prices are more than reasonable for the portion size, and are extremely filling. i will try the korean sundae one day if i can bring myself to not finish my meal so i'll have room for it!

pretty good food, diverse selection, at a really great price. theplaceis really popular, so service was lacking a bit, as they were understaffed.

best korean in regina. korea house is a greatplaceto eat, definitely among my favorite in regina. from the outside it looks borderline terrible i must admit, and the inside isn't anything to write home about either, but the important thing is the service and the food you will get for great value.

other restaurants in regina will charge a considerable amount more money for similar dishes at lower quality and often even smaller portions.

service is always prompt, food is always amazing, i recommend the kimchi pajeung, bulgogi, and of course the hot pot bibimbap.

excellent food!!. korea house may not be the most well known place, or the best looking for establishments, but the food speaks volumes about how excellent thisplaceis.
the menu is varied and contains many items for different tastes, listed both in korean as well as english.
from their tempura, to the gyoza like "man-doo"; to the more well known bulgogi and kimchi dishes; nothing fails to impress.
what seems like a mom and pop shop with only a few workers that can get overwhelmed when the restaurant is full; the food is well worth any wait you may have!

i've taken many friends and family to korea house and every one of them has wanted to go back for more!

superb food, and worth checking out to try something new! don't be afraid to ask for extra spicey! it's even better!
