great customer service as we’d read from all the reviews. they went out of their way to accommodate our needs, especially with a young child.

i had a vegetarian bibimbap and ordered tofu instead of meat. my fussy 5yo had thechickenbites and left only a few pieces behind.

enjoyed the meal - the restaurant was quickly packed on a friday night when the surrounding restaurants were dead. please we read the reviews and may even head back before we leave dunedin!

awesome little restaurant on george street. the waiter is very friendly and helpful. three of us shared fried tofu, chickenwings, pan fried dumplings, bbq beef with kimchi andchickennoodles with fish cakes. everything was so delicious especially the bbq beef and i loved the texture of the noodles and the fresh capsic with it. the dumplings were nicer then chinese ones. would love to come back

delicious! the ambiance isn't much to look forward to, but the food is amazing. perfectly seasoned meats and a delightful kimchi.we got thechickenand beef and la style ribs. the rice was cooked perfectly and the sides were great. i would definitely eat here for lunch and dinner everyday!

the service was very good. the pan fried dumpings are probably the best i've ever had. we both decided to try something new, my husband had hot plate bee bim bob which he found to have a distinct flavor he could not explain. he gave it a 7/10.
i tried thechickenkat. it taste like over-fried mcdonald'schickennuggets in bbq sauce served over rice.

overall: service, menu, taste, atmosphere... we finally agree. we would both give the restaurant a 6/10. will we return? perhaps.

this place is a hidden gem! while it may not look like much from the outside and its austere interior may leave you wanting, it does not disappoint when it comes to korean cuisine. we ordered the bulgogi (marinated beef with onions and carrots),chickenbulgogi (marinated spicychicken& beef) and the vege man doo (pan fried dumplings stuffed with mushroom, onions, carrots, bean sprouts and tofu). and a couple of korean iced coffees to wash it all down. the bulgogi was excellent, as was thechickenbulgogi. they didn't skimp on the meat, instead both contained lots of big chunks of beef and/or chicken. and i was glad to see that thechickenbulgogi was not just the same as the beef bulgogi but with added chicken. while similar, it was its own dish with a different, spicier marinade. the vege man doo was also good, but not my favourite. the bulgogi were accompanied by rice and all three dishes came with a variety of side dishes in small bowls. all in all, it was a very satisfying meal with more than enough food to go around. i highly recommend this place.
