super yummy!. upon recommendation from a friend and after reading reviews of this site i decided to give koreahousea try.

awesome meal.

we ordered the hot stone bi bim bap ($12.99) and it was huge! the veggies were delicious and the pot sizzling just like a like it. the menu listed on urban spoon is a bit out of date, the dishes are around $1-3 more expensive, but still well worth the price (especially the bi bim bap).

we also order the korean pancake and the chicken+beef bulgogi. the pancake was yummy and crispy, perhaps a touch on the salty side, but i still really enjoyed it.

i was skeptical of this place at first due to it's exterior, but i'm happy i gave it a shot. the service was tentative, a real mom and pop kind of place.

i will be going here again.

don't judge a book by its cover!. to put it kindly, koreahouseis not exactly the most aesthetically pleasing at first glance, but if you can look past that, it will be well worth your while. the food is delicious, service is friendly and helpful to those not familiar with the menu, and prices are very reasonable. a few must-tries are the seafood pancake, beef bulgogi, and the hot pot bi bim bap. i will definitely be returning!

i liked it. after a few years, it seems that if i want korean food in either regina or saskatoon, i always end up in korea house.
/
the food:
our sea food pa jeon was a pancake with various seafood ingredients embedded within. it was crunchy on the outside while fluffy on the inside. it had some great flavors.
their staple, the hot stone pot bee bim bob, was once again very well done. even after unloading half a bottle of that 'red sauce' into the bowl, i still could not get it to be spicy enough.
as food goes, their special fried rice was also good.
/
overall:
the service is good and the food comes out quite quickly for lunch (roughly around 12 minutes). koreahousehas some unique dishes done to a high quality that one will not typically find elsewhere in saskatchewan. not the best in canada, but very good for now.

every dish i've had at koreahousehas been delicious, warming and comforting. i always leave wanting more because it tastes so good. i definitely recommend the gamjatang and jelly tofu stew (can have meat in it). the tofu stew is so silky and has such a deep flavour to it.

they refill your banchan and rice if you ask but i wish they gave more of it!! the little potato cubes are so delicious i could eat a whole bowl of them.

koreahouseis a staple for winter as most dishes are soupy and they have plenty of hot pots which warms you up. don't forget to go during the lunch hours as you can get 20% off the price which makes the meals well worth the price tag.

nice service, solid food. the restaurant, albeit not at the greatest part of the city, is pretty plain but looks clean and the staff are very pleasant. on one side of the restaurant, there are tables with gas grills on them for korean barbeque (marinated beef, marinated chicken, squid, and pork belly are the main meat choices that can be cooked on the table). the other side of the restaurant does not have the grills. the menu is fairly extensive and food is very solid. looking through the photos that are uploaded on this site gives a pretty good sense of the menu. i have not had anything there that was disappointing but i also have not had anything that absolutely knocked my socks off. the prices are very reasonable. this is not a bad place to go in order to satisfy a craving for korean cuisine. the only other place in the city with some korean dishes of this caliber (that i am aware of) is orange izakaya (but orange izakaya is more of a fusion place and koreahousehas a far more extensive selection of specifically korean cuisine than does orange izakaya).

most authentic korean food in regina. i spent nearly four years in korea and can tell you that koreahousehas the best korean food around. i've never done the bbq there as i do feel it is overpriced but the other items on the menu are reasonably priced and good portions. my coworkers and friends always seem to be intimidated to try koreahouseas they don't know what to order. here are some suggestions: either the kimchi or seafood pajeon (pancake), mandu (dumpling), bibimbop (rice, egg, vegetable), either kimchi jigae (my favourite) or the korean beef stew, any or the bulgogi's. don't expect much in terms of atmosphere, but do expect excellent food!!

so unbelievably good!. we went to koreahouseafter seeing the extremely high rating it received on urbanspoon. we both love korean food, and decided to give this place a try. as the other reviews say, it isn't anything fancy. it's a jeans and t-shirt kind of place with a definite café feel to it. personally, that is one of the things i love most about it. the food has been amazing every time we have gone, and the server is extremely friendly. prices are more than reasonable for the portion size, and are extremely filling. i will try the korean sundae one day if i can bring myself to not finish my meal so i'll have room for it!

we went to koreahousefor the first time recently. we went for a second time about a month later. the food was great, good value and a very helpful and friendly waiter. i have found if they get really busy the service can falter a bit, they don't ever seem to have many staff on. but good value and the menu is organised well with photos for those of you that are not familiar with korean food.

best korean in regina. koreahouseis a great place to eat, definitely among my favorite in regina. from the outside it looks borderline terrible i must admit, and the inside isn't anything to write home about either, but the important thing is the service and the food you will get for great value.

other restaurants in regina will charge a considerable amount more money for similar dishes at lower quality and often even smaller portions.

service is always prompt, food is always amazing, i recommend the kimchi pajeung, bulgogi, and of course the hot pot bibimbap.

great food!. koreahouseis a regina gem! great food, service is excellent and the ambience is cheery and authentic and (i know for a fact) the kitchen is clean!! the prices are reasonable. try the bbq - you cook it yourself at your table - lots of fun! regina is a better place because of this restaurant!!! thanks to shin and her family!!

excellent food!!. koreahousemay not be the most well known place, or the best looking for establishments, but the food speaks volumes about how excellent this place is.
the menu is varied and contains many items for different tastes, listed both in korean as well as english.
from their tempura, to the gyoza like "man-doo"; to the more well known bulgogi and kimchi dishes; nothing fails to impress.
what seems like a mom and pop shop with only a few workers that can get overwhelmed when the restaurant is full; the food is well worth any wait you may have!

i've taken many friends and family to koreahouseand every one of them has wanted to go back for more!

superb food, and worth checking out to try something new! don't be afraid to ask for extra spicey! it's even better!
