super modern finishes ofgreattaste. outstanding service. curious to try some more interesting options on the menu. the salmon and tuna poke bowl was delicious.

we were really looking forward to the opening of koi! and it certainly didn't disappoint! the food was excellent! dim sum, sushi fresh and tasty as can be with the best range of dipping sauces! our waiter could have been more attentive, and they are still waiting for there liquor license but agreatspot for a tasty meal.

what agreatexperience.. first time visiting koi and i just want to go back for more. incredibly tasty sushi, their salmon sashimi and their tempura prawns is the best ive ever had. this softness of the salmon shows the freshness andgreatquality. the tempura prawns were crunchy on the outside and soft inside, being a well portioned size also. the ambience a d interior is modern but comfortable and relaxing.
the service was fantastic and the knowledge of our waiter was great, with him advising on some of his favourites

the meals here never disappoint. if you love japanese cuisine this place is definitely agreatspot to pop in.

the sushi is always so good and so fresh

some firm favorites are the salmon and the seared tuna served with wasabi mash. the red thai chicken curry and baby chicken are also winners.

i have never had a bad experience at koi menlyn maine! the staff are always friendly and professional, the food divine (best miso soup i’ve ever tasted in sa),greatselection of wines and champagnes and more-ish deserts.

one of the best places to grab dim sum and anygreatasian cuisine. my boyfriend and i often come to this restaurant and have not been disappointed as of yet. the decor is lovely and there is the option of sitting on the roof deck looking over the square of restaurants in menlyn maine.

great food,greatstaff, although they spin a lot when the restaurant gets full. overall very pleasant. i had the infamous wagyu beef starter, it just melts in your mouth.

i had the most delicious meal here. wow. i am a sucker for udon noodles, and these were thebombdotcom! so fresh... almost seemed a bit thicker than normal. i built a bowl - udon noodles, indonesian sauce and chicken. my sister had the ribeye, delicious!greatpresentation. and their vegetables (side dish) were also delicious... unfortunately, the service was okay, then bad. we asked for a second bottle of water - it never arrived - and the waiter had the audacity to say... " dont worry, the second bottle of water isn't on the bill " . wtf???

i had lunch with a client today in menlyn. i’ve been to every restaurant in menlyn maine besides this one. the place is huge and has a nice atmosphere. if you can sit on the deck upstairs overlooking the pool. service is good. notgreatbut good. i ordered sushi and it is probably some of the best sushi around. it is a bit pricey but definitely worth it. the place was very empty and i the only concerns i had was the drinks we ordered.

28.05.2017 koi is adjacent to the capital hotel and thus is the breakfast buffet spot for all hotel guests. it also serves the purpose if you need room service. not sure if this is a permanent setup or maybe they will get their own kitchen in the future. nonetheless it's agreatdeal for parties. the decor is simple yet pretty if i can call it that, with soft colours giving you a relaxed look and feel.

they have a reasonable variety for breakfast, it tastesgreatbut there is nothing special or unique considering it's koi. there is something for everyone so you definitely won't go hungry. service wasn't too bad the staff were friendly and helpful.

i had my usual bacon, eggs, mushrooms and tomato along with some muesli, fruit and yoghurt to start my day right.

looking forward to trying koi's actual menu next time.

2nd visit here and absolutely love the peking duck pancakes that were beautifully prepared. could do with two extra pancakes. also had the california rolls and deep fried shrimp rock sushi! beautifully prepared shushi and some of the best we ever had. cocktail menu are beautiful withgreatinnnovative flavours, some are just really small for the price. overallgreatexperience just be prepared to wait a little for the shushi but most certainly worth a visit!

finally the new koi at menlyn maine is open! i missed them.greatdim sum and a nice new green papaya salad. many new things on the menu. food wasgreatbut they've become even more expensive. almost put off by the prices. simple lunch of shared dim sum, salad and water came to r460 with a tip

agreatexperience and definitely highly recommended. we opted to do a selection of different small meals and dim sum. the dim sum are out of this world, i really could not get enough. the small meals were also good. there were a few hits and misses but that goes down to personal taste and cannot be blamed on the restaurant. they still do not have a liquor license, however they do accommodate the alcohol situation with the help from neighboring restaurants. over all a must go venue in pretoria. the pricing is on the upper end however it is justified by the quality and taste.
