this is a smalltapas(small plate) restaurant in the downstairs of savannah. here is how to order: pick two small plates per person and share at the table. works really well with 3-4 people. athe food was good. the truffle fries were a good start but my favorite two dishes ordered were the (1l chevre (goat cheese), tomatoes and toasted bagettes and the (2) muscles (broth was amazing). we also tried the oyster special with cheese and bacon which was good but not oustanding. the blackened salmon is highly recommended, and comes with a wonderful charred crust texture and great flavor. the shrimp and grits are not the traditional creamy grits and was more tomatoe based, and not favorite. for drinks, the basil lemon martini was ok, and a little sweet (i prefer drier). the jazzed manhattan is my recommendation. they have lived music, at least on weekends which is nice. the atmosphere is a little loud after the music starts (~9am) but a recommended spot close to city market downtown.

dropped in for dinner here last night. server was very attentive and professional -tapasare quite large, he warned us. (really app size or a little bigger - perfect for a light dinner with a first course and dessert). we ordered thetapasfor 2- 2 soup or salad, 4tapasand 2 desserts with coffees for $65. all were very good, the only rock star was the shrimp & grits (yep, really) - they added a bit of sofrito to the shrimp and the locally ground gouda grits were perfectly cooked - light and tasty.

amazing. great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, priced well. most importantly...its delicious. bbq shrimp and grits was good, lamb was good, beef tips has a really strong blue cheese presents...so if blue cheese is not your thing, you may not like it.tapasfor 2 is a good deal.

visiting savannah for the first time, we found many restaurants that we enjoyed. jazz'd was the only one i made sure to go back to twice. thetapaswere non-traditional, more japanese-fusion than anything else, but were all wonderfully prepared and presented. there was entertainment the second night as well. great martinis too. i especially enjoyed the firecracker shrimp and the cucumber martini.

modern tapas. we went around 5:30 on a monday night, so i can't speak to the music or the bar scene, but thetapaswere very good. we had the mushroom ratatouille, five onion soup, and humus plate, and all were delicious. the server wasn't thrilled with us (probably because we weren't drinking) but she was very professional and efficient, so i can't complain. recommend.

the food was reallly good. although they say that they have "small plates" which is a complete lie. everything is regular portioned so we all ordered way too much food, but it was fun to taste basically the whole menu. our favorite dishes were the she-crab soup, the seared ahi plate (still thinking about it) and the chocolate torte. i give this place 2 thumbs up for sure!

great food, great value. we got the $60tapasfor two. lamb, sirloin was excellent. portions are near entree size and generous. prepared well. great drinks at a reasonable price. this is a new savannah favorite. music on our visit was so so but the food more than compensated. this is less than waterfront restaurants while having far better food.

good date spot. not reallytapasby spanish standards, but the same idea, just enlarged for the enlarged american. also, the only place right now where i can get snail. decent wine too. pricey, and the quality of food could be more consistent. when it is tourist season and they get really busy and quality drops.

learn a place is underground and it’s immediately cool. add a classy atmosphere, an attentive wait staff, well-presented food and creative cocktails that enliven your taste buds–now, that’s a place i’ll hang out. jazz’dtapasbar in savannah encompasses all these qualities. let me show you.

like it! food = very good for georgiatapas(kind of large portions, not really hispanic, needs some spices!!!). and i like the environment - chic & hip. now, if only these savannah women were friendlier....

we are on a bachelorette party and got a suggestion from a local at the beach to come here. we had such a great time! the prices are on the more expensive side, but we knew that coming in. we had 7 girls and 9tapasand it was the perfect amount. every dish was fantastic- especially the beef tips. certain items are larger than others, like the calamari. our waitress, aubrey, gave us a list of 15 bars in order of where we should go first, directions, and star ratings. she was so great!
