not a bad place to take out of town guests.greatservice, good food (lasagna had a little too much spinach inside for me, but tasty) im sure i'll be back.

this is a small tapas (small plate) restaurant in the downstairs of savannah. here is how to order: pick two small plates per person and share at the table. works really well with 3-4 people. athe food was good. the truffle fries were a good start but my favorite two dishes ordered were the (1l chevre (goat cheese), tomatoes and toasted bagettes and the (2) muscles (broth was amazing). we also tried the oyster special with cheese and bacon which was good but not oustanding. the blackened salmon is highly recommended, and comes with a wonderful charred crust texture andgreatflavor. the shrimp and grits are not the traditional creamy grits and was more tomatoe based, and not favorite. for drinks, the basil lemon martini was ok, and a little sweet (i prefer drier). the jazzed manhattan is my recommendation. they have lived music, at least on weekends which is nice. the atmosphere is a little loud after the music starts (~9am) but a recommended spot close to city market downtown.

jazz’d was recommended by a lot of people when asked about the best places to have a night out in savannah. they do not take reservations unless it is for a large group, so we had to wait about 40 minutes to get a table on a saturday night. the place was very loud on account of having 3 bachelorette parties being hosted there.

i ordered a citrus basil martini and it was fantastic. to start off with, we ordered the calamari, firecracker shrimps and the hot spinach dip. even though the place was extremely busy, we got our food on time. the firecracker shrimp was amazing. the shrimps were fresh and the sweet and spicy sauce was well balanced. the hot spinach dip lived up to its reputation. it had lots of artichoke pieces smothered in hot cheese and spinach. the calamari, however, was a disappointment for me. it was soggy and the coating was flaking off. the marinara sauce was not impressive either.

we decided to order the chorizo sliders as well. even though we were not waiting for two long, our waitress, simone, checked in with us to see if we got our sliders on time. when we told her that we are still waiting on it, she apologized and went to check on it. the came back and informed us that she had forgotten to place the order and apologized profusely. she then gave us a complimentary seared tuna. this ended up being my favorite dish of the night. the tuna was fresh and the wasabi aioli and wonton base were perfect parings for it. the service was impeccable and we felt well cared for. simone was an excellent hostess and gave us some other recommendations for restaurants as well.

the noise level at the restaurant is a bit bothersome. they should also get some new, comfortable chairs. not the ideal place for a romantic dinner but the atmosphere isgreatfor drinks and a quick bite as the food and drinks are incredible.

relax withgreatfood. i honestly could not figure out how they could sell such quality food at such agreatprice. everything we had was awesome

amazing.greatatmosphere, knowledgeable staff, priced well. most importantly...its delicious. bbq shrimp and grits was good, lamb was good, beef tips has a really strong blue cheese presents...so if blue cheese is not your thing, you may not like it. tapas for 2 is a good deal.

visiting savannah for the first time, we found many restaurants that we enjoyed. jazz'd was the only one i made sure to go back to twice. the tapas were non-traditional, more japanese-fusion than anything else, but were all wonderfully prepared and presented. there was entertainment the second night as well.greatmartinis too. i especially enjoyed the firecracker shrimp and the cucumber martini.

great food,greatvalue. we got the $60 tapas for two. lamb, sirloin was excellent. portions are near entree size and generous. prepared well.greatdrinks at a reasonable price. this is a new savannah favorite. music on our visit was so so but the food more than compensated. this is less than waterfront restaurants while having far better food.

simply perfect! service rivaled any 5star restaurant. the food was simple but elegant. the chefs has agreatunderstanding of layering flavors to compose a wonderful meal. desserts... make sure you save room! there amazing!

we are on a bachelorette party and got a suggestion from a local at the beach to come here. we had such agreattime! the prices are on the more expensive side, but we knew that coming in. we had 7 girls and 9 tapas and it was the perfect amount. every dish was fantastic- especially the beef tips. certain items are larger than others, like the calamari. our waitress, aubrey, gave us a list of 15 bars in order of where we should go first, directions, and star ratings. she was so great!

tremendous tapas, drinks, and music. jazz'd does agreatjob of serving hearty tapas, amazing drinks, andgreatmusic in a pleasantly intimate atmosphere at a reasonable price. their idea of tapas is above-average sharing-size portions of a large variety of creative appetizers ranging from traditional spanish fare to flavorful modern takes on items like spare ribs and stuffed mushrooms. the caramel-apple-tini my girlfriend ordered was ridiculously good. service was great, and the blues band that was playing last saturday night was unbelievable. all in all, agreatexperience.

ok tapas, nice atmosphere. loved the basement location, speak-easy type of bar with cool drinks and sinatra-esque performers. the tapas we ordered were pretty good but didn't have that extra something that would make me rate this agreatplace to eat. the chicken lettuce wraps seemed to lack seasoning. the lasagna was good but with all the cheese it was hard to tell if it had any other flavor. our other choice came out cold originally and we had to send it back to be re-cooked. if i lived in savannah i might come back a few times, but if you're passing through town there are other places you might want to hit instead. good drinks spot, though.

good times,greatfood. most everything we oredered was excellent. no problems w/ special requests for drinks. they also have american cuisine for those non adventurous folks in your party. i would recommend the cheese/bread/fruit/garlic plate and the empanades. the band that played the night we went was excellent. they would not take a reservation but told us to call 1 hour prior to arrival and we could reserve a table, no problems but it filled fast. very good service from the waitress but keep an eye on your utensils and drinks as they will be snatched up before you know it, if it appears 3/4 finished. one thing rubbed me the wrong way though. we inquired if we could see/hear the band from our table and the host (an unshaven young fellow) told us that when we finished we could move over to the bar area(very minimal seating). we asked if it was ok to sit at our table after we finished our meal and have drinks and enjoy the music. he said "we arent going to ask you to leave but we usually have people waiting". seems like they were trying to hurry us along to turn over a table as it was saturday night but we just took our time. thats my only complaint. overall a winner, just ignore the host/hostess and enjoy!

* if any waitresses read this here my 2 cents. you might make more money if you dont hurry people along. some people really do tip according to service. so dont be in such a hurry to flip a table.

never disappoints for a girls night. love this fun little place withgreatcocktails and tapas. terrific for a night out with the girls.
