only so-so. visited jazz'd on a sunday evening. we were seated right away and had a large comfortable booth for a party of 7. decent wine choices. many options on the menu. food was okay - not the worst, but not terribly wonderful.servicewas slow. and dishes were not brought out well - for example, i ordered two tapa's plates and they were brouht at the same time. might try again to see ifserviceimproves.

jazz’d was recommended by a lot of people when asked about the best places to have a night out in savannah. they do not take reservations unless it is for a large group, so we had to wait about 40 minutes to get a table on a saturday night. the place was very loud on account of having 3 bachelorette parties being hosted there.

i ordered a citrus basil martini and it was fantastic. to start off with, we ordered the calamari, firecracker shrimps and the hot spinach dip. even though the place was extremely busy, we got our food on time. the firecracker shrimp was amazing. the shrimps were fresh and the sweet and spicy sauce was well balanced. the hot spinach dip lived up to its reputation. it had lots of artichoke pieces smothered in hot cheese and spinach. the calamari, however, was a disappointment for me. it was soggy and the coating was flaking off. the marinara sauce was not impressive either.

we decided to order the chorizo sliders as well. even though we were not waiting for two long, our waitress, simone, checked in with us to see if we got our sliders on time. when we told her that we are still waiting on it, she apologized and went to check on it. the came back and informed us that she had forgotten to place the order and apologized profusely. she then gave us a complimentary seared tuna. this ended up being my favorite dish of the night. the tuna was fresh and the wasabi aioli and wonton base were perfect parings for it. theservicewas impeccable and we felt well cared for. simone was an excellent hostess and gave us some other recommendations for restaurants as well.

the noise level at the restaurant is a bit bothersome. they should also get some new, comfortable chairs. not the ideal place for a romantic dinner but the atmosphere is great for drinks and a quick bite as the food and drinks are incredible.

another great meal at jazz'd. the cheese plate is delicious and the andouille crawfish cakes are amazing. great food and greatserviceare the norm at this savannah favorite.

way to ruin our wedding night!. let's start with the fact that we wanted our experience at jazz'd to be awesome. they came highly recommended by friends and we selected them as a venue for our wedding night. perhaps our expectations were too high. for how nice it looks, you expect jazz'd to be upscale. the food and drinks (although priced at an upscale level) are not quite up to par. the food was good at best and the drinks were watered down. prior to our wedding we went to jazz'd to try them out with friends. the drinks were tasty yet weak. theservicewas very slow. the food was good but not all it had been hyped up to be. we decided to give them another chance as we enjoyed the atmosphere with the live music and thought it would make a fun place to hold post wedding festivities. when we made arrangements for our wedding we were told to be sure we were there at 9 and not late. on the night of our wedding we showed up before 9 and ended up having to wait about 45 minutes to be seated in the small room we had reserved for our wedding party. it was embarrassing. our guests wanted to know why we were having to wait. i didn't have a good answer. the hostess simply stated that there were still diners in our area that had eaten there prior to nine and were finished eating but hadn't left and they should be finishing up soon so we had to wait. it was ridiculous. they weren't even apologetic. when we were finally seated we had one waiter for 12 people and it took a long time just to get our first round of drinks. when it came time for our cake (which we had prearranged with them) we physically had to track down our waiter from in the kitchen to bring it to us and follow through with our requests. after we had the cake the waiter did not return the rest of the evening to check on us, see if we needed drinks or anything. we had to physically track him down again just to get the bill. theservicewas so bad that we ended up sending about half of our guests home early because they were bored and there was no one waiting on us. completely ridiculous! i had my heart set on this place because i thought with the live music and ambiance it would be perfect. even the live music was a let down as the musicians took very frequent breaks for long periods of time playing prerecorded music instead. completely appalled by this place and will never return! save your money!!

the atmosphere was neat, but theservicewas subpar at best and the food was way overpriced with extremely small portions. i would not recommend coming here unless you want to spend an exorbitant amount of money to barely even touch your appetite. it was my friends bachelorette party and the server was very snobby and literally did nothing to make us feel welcomed there. the food didn't even taste very good- nothing i couldn't have cooked myself.

simply perfect!servicerivaled any 5star restaurant. the food was simple but elegant. the chefs has a great understanding of layering flavors to compose a wonderful meal. desserts... make sure you save room! there amazing!

tremendous tapas, drinks, and music. jazz'd does a great job of serving hearty tapas, amazing drinks, and great music in a pleasantly intimate atmosphere at a reasonable price. their idea of tapas is above-average sharing-size portions of a large variety of creative appetizers ranging from traditional spanish fare to flavorful modern takes on items like spare ribs and stuffed mushrooms. the caramel-apple-tini my girlfriend ordered was ridiculously good.servicewas great, and the blues band that was playing last saturday night was unbelievable. all in all, a great experience.

good food,serviceand music... clientele a little to be desired.... we've been here a few times and have pretty good experiences to show. this time ( a friday), less so. we decided to eat at the bar. damn some people have no manners... my fiancee was almost pryed off her seat by the drunken women standing next to her, they were old enough to know better... after politely asking if they'd give us a little more space, one of them made small talk whilst pointing out her pet gorilla was sitting on the table behind... that's what to expect...

good times, great food. most everything we oredered was excellent. no problems w/ special requests for drinks. they also have american cuisine for those non adventurous folks in your party. i would recommend the cheese/bread/fruit/garlic plate and the empanades. the band that played the night we went was excellent. they would not take a reservation but told us to call 1 hour prior to arrival and we could reserve a table, no problems but it filled fast. very goodservicefrom the waitress but keep an eye on your utensils and drinks as they will be snatched up before you know it, if it appears 3/4 finished. one thing rubbed me the wrong way though. we inquired if we could see/hear the band from our table and the host (an unshaven young fellow) told us that when we finished we could move over to the bar area(very minimal seating). we asked if it was ok to sit at our table after we finished our meal and have drinks and enjoy the music. he said "we arent going to ask you to leave but we usually have people waiting". seems like they were trying to hurry us along to turn over a table as it was saturday night but we just took our time. thats my only complaint. overall a winner, just ignore the host/hostess and enjoy!

* if any waitresses read this here my 2 cents. you might make more money if you dont hurry people along. some people really do tip according to service. so dont be in such a hurry to flip a table.

great service, food...so so. we ate there for new years and had high expectations based on reviews, but it fell a little short for the price. martini tenderloin tips were a little strange - we ventured on a limb there, but it was an odd combination. the fried tapas were a little on the heavy side - empinadas and shrimp fritters. however, the she crab soup was great. i will say that the portions were sizeable and the tapas for two will be more than enough for two people. overall, great atmosphere andservice(which are very important for tapas in my opinion) but food fell a little short.

excellent food and service. my fiance and i ate at jazz'd tapas bar this past friday night and the food and especially theservicewere incredible.

really likes it. the food,serviceand ambiance were great. the music was good but very loud. you could not hold a conversation with table mates unless you were speaking loudly. the portions were just the right size, we have 4 different menu items and were very satified.

delicious. everything from ourserviceto our plate presentation was superb. even on a night with a wait, our server seemed calm, attentative, and the food came out perfectly timed.

mmmmmmm!!! we got the tapas for two deal and it was a lot of food for two people. really cool ambience; pleasant butservicewas a little slow and the price tag was a little on the high side. get the caramel apple martini!
