a trip to victoria is never complete without dinner at il terrazzo. it is an all around 5 star experience! the attentive and genuine staff, the great ambiance, the inventive cocktails and skillfully selected wine list, the quality and deliciousness of the dishes are all second to none. i’m always impressed with my whole experience - every detail is impeccably orchestrated into the best meal ever. and the food, awesome. such good value for money too with impressive portions which is unexpected for a restaurant of this calibre. can’t wait to go back. just book a table. you’ll thank me later!

went to mill bay for a wedding so i decided to take an extra day off to spend more time on the island. my coworker recommended this place to me for their pasta and since i'm a sucker for pasta i have to check this place out. we ordered the portabello mushroom salad, crusted ahi tuna with cheese stuffed tonno (a kind of pasta), and the pasta marco polo. we started with some warm bread with a great dip that contains minced olives in olive oil. the salad was by far the best warm salad i've ever have. the portabello mushroom was cut into thin slices then deep fried, along with generous amount of prosciutto and pine nuts. then came the ahi tuna and pasta. again a generous piece of fresh ahi tuna with a coconut based sauce to balance off the 'fish' taste. all the vegetables that came with that dish were all very refreshing. finally the pasta, i like how they have some mango chunks so the sweetness and sourness made the pasta sauce less heavy. i would definitely recommend il terrazzo.

i had such high expectations based on reviews and having eaten there once many years ago. the ambience is lovely. the service was pleasant. the salads were delicious but they came out almost too soon, like maybe they were tying to rush us through. but the low rating is because of the mains. my husband had the fusilli which was overbaked and very salty (he couldn’t finish it). i had the tuna which was pretty average, like what you might get at a chain restaurant.

we stopped in for a night cap - nice place, wine choice are good, food looked amazing though we had already eaten! would definitely recommend for a dinner out or date night very charming and romantic atmosphere. volume medium.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

if a plane ticket to italy is not something you want to pay for but you still want a chance to try out the food, then this is the place to go. just taking a step into this establishment felt like the world outside vanished and i was welcomed into this new world i was about to experience. the server was busy but was still attentive and took care of me well (thank you by the way). the pasta i had was amazing! i was awestruck by its taste and quality! there are only a few places i've had pasta at that made go "amazing" under my breath when took the first bite and this is one of them. would i recommend? highly!

beautiful restourant & if you get a patio seating then consider yourself very lucky. the whole restaurant has great ambience. servers are knowledgeable and very pleasant. huge wine selection. we ordered the tuna steak as well as the veal -👍👍.

i've had a few memorable meals here including one of the best steaks i've eaten in victoria! some standard italian fare but i like some of their more adventurous menu items like game meats (elk/venison). beautiful restaurant inside, especially if you sit by the fireplace. the wine menu is epic.

visited on my birthday (about a month ago). we were seated on the covered, heated patio, between two roaring gas fireplaces. the ambiance here was top notch, and the service was also on point with worldly standards. the food also, did not disappoint. the meatballs were the best i've ever had, with the smoothest of textures, the spaghetti was passable (not al dente enough for me), and the sauce just right. the pizza was also very good, but the seafood soup was slightly disappointing (not enough of a blend of flavours).

all in all, this was a spectacular experience, and i will definitely be back!

nice experience, but the food wasn't amazing. i had specifically asked for my salmon to be rare, it came overcooked. sent it back, it came back edible, but i can cook it better. waste of 25$! great service though :)

i just went here for the first time with my boyfriend and we were blown away! we had reservations for 7:45 and were seated at 7:40. had our drinks, bread and orders taken within minutes and had our food 10 minutes later. the food was phenomenal (the best pasta we both ever had) and were full, happy and satisfied customers ready for our bill by 8 (we were too full for dessert). the best service, food and timeliness we have ever experienced. this place deliveries in every aspect!

this place was one of our favorite italian restaurant. reservation is always recommended. food came fast compared to the number of customers waiting to be served. mussels were exceptionally well cooked and fresh.

excellent food. pricey but of impeccable quality, care and attention. servers are professional and knowledgable. make a reservation as arguably most popular restaurant in town - it's where the locals go! great place for a splurge and special occasion meal.

we had a lovely night at il terrazzo. the osso bucco was to die for. beautifully cooked, melt in your mouth over a bed of delicious, well cooked risotto. the linguine fruitti de mare was nice but needed more sauce. the complimentary housemade foccacia was soft and delicious with the in-house olive tapenade. service was attentive and friendly, without feeling like you were being over-serviced.
we didn't get to taste the desserts but the menu looked very enticing.

outstanding! year after year this restaurant never fails to surprises me and they just keep getting better. it's always a bit of a struggle to get parking but once you're there it's all forgotten. the space itself has an old world charm with a contemporary twist, the staff are excellent and the service first class. if you are there at the right time and are seated on the patio it transports you to old world europe whilst still at home. i thought i had had everything on the menu but with seasonal choices it's always changing. the mussels are absolutely fabulous with a sinful sauce with banana peppers with just enough heat, you'll need extra bread to soak up every last drop. the roasted squash cannelloni is exquisite with an odd mixture of ingredients that seem to play off each other, i never would have thought about cilantro pesto but i'll have to try it at home. visiting or a local don't miss out on what i believe is the best restaurant in town. enjoy.
