iguana mexican grill

queso. love iguana but they have changed their queso. it is not as good and tastes cheap. :(

i just can't seem to find any good mexican food here.

why i loooove iguana mexican grill. katie makk. that is the single most reason i love iguana and continue to eat here after three years. she is the best bartender/ bar manager! she has vast knowledge of product, as she has had five years experience at iguana. she is very very polite,friendly, but not overly friendly, professional, helpful, thoughtful, responsible, and she is also very easy to talk to and feel comfortable with. if you ever go to iguana, i recommend eating/drinking when katie is working! she knows how to take care of a customer! she is the best!!!

queso changed!. they changed their famous queso to a different recipe! i'm so sad about it. it tastes like slightly cheesy white gravy. bring back the old queso!

you call that salsa?. we waited for almost 45 minutes to be seated as we watched other groups of similar size come in and get seated right away. my father in law was in icu at ou medical center so we thought it would be nice to get away from the hospital for a few minutes. when we were finally seated they brought us some salsa(?) and chips. it was the first time i have ever had to make my own salsa in a mexican restaurant. when i asked about it, our server ( who did a pretty dang good job) informed us that they do not put peppers in the salsa because some people find it too spicy.. she was able to locate some fresh ingredients in the kitchen and voila! we had salsa!. the food was slow in arriving to our table and parts of our order were wrong... entire meals were messed up and had to be redone which took more time... we were hoping to enjoy some food and get away for a few minutes and instead we got mediocre food that took so long to get there we were anxious to get back to the hospital. the manager was super apologetic but based on this experience we will not be going back....

came in for lunch on tuesday june 30th. came in at like 1:30 for a late lunch with friends... we were wanting to have drinks and a fun time. the server was clearly pissed that we were there. he was very rude and short with us and was acting like us being there was inconvincing him. i have waited tables for several years and how he was acting was uncalled for.... i usually give places second chances but if i had him as a server again, i would request another.

this used to be one of my favs now it is really just disappointing. the service totally sucked and the food was just okay. it makes me sad knowing how amazing this place used to be.

used to be great, but now just another taco bell. food used to be fresh and cooked just right. now, it's as though it's nothing more than we can get down the street for a tenth of the price. i don't know what happened. this used to be my favorite place to go, but it's really gone to the dogs. ate the fajitas. . .seemed warmed over and stale. friend got the steak enchiladas. nothing like the ones i came to love. what's up with that?

food seems good overall, avoid the fajitas unless you want 9 strips of under flavored meat for $25, served on a plate. double order was not enough for two people! not what you expect for an entree traditionally served in a sizzling skillet, and usually large enough for a to go box in the end.

not impressed ... had been looking forward to this all day and was disappointed all around. margaritas tasted watered down, and all the food was bland ... just not very exciting ... wish we had picked somewhere else ..

always enjoy dining here. food is well-prepared & fresh. service was excellent today.

the only thing good here is just the salsa. ...yep other than the food is dry and it seems like no one really in the kitchen does not taste the food before they serve it, they are spot on when it comes to salsa they got that right but as far as going to a fancy steakhouse where they don't taste the food before they serve it don't go here, you'll spend an arm and a leg and the only thing that will go through your brain is how awesome the salsa was.

best salsa in town. if you are looking specifically for tex-mex, this isn't the place for you. however, if you are looking for great food, i recommend this place. the salsa is to die for. i love the selection of drinks and the specials. tuesdays can be a little too much as they are so busy, but the tacos are always very good. i love trying new foods and iguana gives me that opportunity. my favorite menu item is the chile relleno. some places just do not do a good job with the breading on their rellenos, but iguana's is excellent.

pretty bummed about the food i got on new year's eve. the service was slow and my fish tacos were bland and tasted like lake water :( good queso though.

won't be back. pros- beef fajitas were really good.
the salsa was good and the waiter brought us a complementary queso
which was also very good.
our waiter was knowledgeable and attentative.

cons- the white beans were sweet, which neither of us liked.
the red rice was tasteless.
the flour tortillas were out of a package.
we love flan, but this flan was overly sweet and had a strange after-taste.
slightly over-priced for the quality of the food.
