after a longggggggg wait we visited this hotel early morning at 7am with crowded people in the dasara 2016 this is original hanumanthu biryani hotel 1930 in mysore no other branches in mysore or india this is the orginal hotel of real taste of biryani
coming to the items mainly should try mutton biryani here this has awsome quality,quantity one plate of mutton biryani they can eat 2 person that much high quantity in this place . chicken biryani is ok taste and starter mutton kheema balls superrr taste must try these also.

one of rare delicious and tasty traditional non veg palav, only place i had mutton item without hesitation of mixing. infact i also make same taste so i loved this hotel. and it has some long years of history. i strongly recommend to all people to give a fest to your taste buds.

this is legendary stuff of mysore . if u are on a biryani trail like me u will absolutely love the biryani here . we had mutton biryani and mutton chops and it was amazing , typical traditional mysoreans style of cooking ..pls expect long queue and waiting time before u get ur hands on one and the place is not really clean and hygienic ...but the food makes it up for that .....cheers

was extremely disappointed by this place. had a lot of expectations after reading so many reviews about it. we reached there at 2 for lunch.. there was nothing available except for their palav.. so we ordered 1mutton palav. the quantity was too huge and we couldn't finish it and packed it home. the taste, i did not like it one bit..even the sherba was tasting weird. not going there again.

after long wait one thing ticked off from my bucket list. this place is legend in itself serving people from 1930. there are 3/4 hotels with the same name around this place. so make sure you visit the right one.i was fortunate to go here with one of the person who knew this place from quite long time. their signature dish mutton pulao served on "mutthukada ele" (kind of leaf) is a must try. also good are boti and mutton chops. the pace gets very cramped up so make sure for a wait which is worth.

visited here for the first time after hearing good feedback from a friend who had visited recently. i have tried their famous hanumanthu mutton pulav. lightly spiced, well cooked mutton, served on a leaf plate. food was good quality and quite reasonably priced. its a worth place to visit for whom the ambience does not matter. must try. highly recommended !!!

have visited this place quite a few times.. ambience is like a typical military hotel.. the place is a little cramped, they have a limited menu and the place can get really crowded.. their popular dish is mutton biryani, the biryani they serve is mild in spices and worth trying... the other dishes are decent too.. the prices are very reasonable for the quantity they serve..

an average mutton pulav, my friends from mysore have told me that his taste has gone done, good quantity, couldn't eat anything for the whole day after one pulav, just wish the seating arrangement were a little better.

biryani lovers your kind attention please. here is a pulav that gives you a light touch of biryani with a twist which makes it pulav. light usage of spices with abundance of meat cooked using firewood is the secret for these mysorean gastro bomb. i recommend a visit to this place the next time you are in the heritage town of mysore.

excellent. the taste of the mutton is very nice, the rice is soft and the meat is well cooked. they have a very long heritage. they started serving since 1930. many of the kannada film actors take away from this place. the ambience is very poor. very old place. tastes stands above all.
