after years of hearing stories about how good this place is and how the who’s who of the state and being have patronised it, not just off but on screen as well, finally got to visit this place. beware of the fraud establishment with the same name on the street right next to this place, it just isn’t the same. the weekday menu was weak, with just biryani and three sides (mutton and chicken chops, and mutton kurma) on offer. the biryani isn’t anything exceptional to speak about (surprise!) and it tasted a bit like paradise biryani, only better over all. the quality is just unbelievable! it can easily serve two normal people and i was out of breath by the time i finished it. the meat was cooked really tender and the quantity deserves a serving mention, cause that’s how muchfoodis served per serving. the spicy chicken chops was a very good accomplice to the subtly flavoured rice and was more of a match to it than the mosru bajji. over all, worth a visit for the legend that the place is, have had better biryani with much less hype in many places. an extra star only for the great wait staff.
