absolutely delicious from start to finish! started with the thai tuna roll and grilled artichokes. the center cut filet (10 oz.) was a little overcooked, but still amazing. it was accompanied by a loaded baked potato which i ate skin and all (a little salty). my unexpected surprise was the dinner salad which was topped with a garlic buttermilk dressing. i am stuffed like a pig and loving every minute of it.

one of our favorites... good food, good service, good value, good ambiance. sorry they don't take reservation's since they moved into their new building.

good experience/weird outfits. i had a really good experience except a couple things. i realllllly enjoyed the food. i had to wait about an hour to eat but it was definitely worth it. the only thing i did not enjoy was the fact that my server had food stains all over his shirt. it was gross because the shirts are pure white and so you could see every little stain that was on it. it kind of grossed me out and i wanted to tell a manager that it would look better if they wore all black but i did not have a chance to find one.
besides that i would definitely recommend it!

great ambiance. the food was excellent. i had the center cut filet. cook perfectly. the service was outstanding. i'd definitely revisit if and when i get back to phoenix. i absolutely loved the layout in the place. very modern and upscale.

a great choice. five of us had dinner during the middle of the dinner hour and the staff did a terrific job throughout. everybody was well trained to ensure the table was continuously cleared, drinks were filled, the works. we were not restricted to a few staff but it was understood among them that everyone worked for every table. the food was terrific. they even had a stupendous house-made veggie burger. yes, i said veggie burger. the filet salad was tops. the cous cous was the best. if you have not been there yet you're missing a real treat.

way down hill. houston's was great-hillstone no. great job with interior but did they fire the cook staff or what?? the food-from hamburger to caesar salad to fish- is much worse. also, they have a problem bringing the right entree. food has gone from great to below average and staff has been added that is not up to previous level.

hawaiian ribeye is the way to go! be ready for a wait, but its worth it

houstons has moved across the street and has renamed themselves hilstone. same great food and service with the addition of sushi to their menu. still my favorite restaurant in town! keep serving it up!!!!

good ribeye. i've had the ribeye with terriyaki sauce for lunch before and for dinner as well. it was of a decent size and cooked medium-rare as i requested it. the prices are a bit high given the portion sizes but such is to be expected from a steak house.

it's a nice place to take business clients and the outdoor seating is very pleasant in the evening when the sun is down. the bar is plenty big for an after-work group up area.

do not clear the table before i am finished eathing!. this is the second time this has happened to a party i was with...i was trying to finish my dinner and the "server" took my plate before i was finished eating. believe me, there were very few people in there so no one was trying to get a table. we weren't drinking...maybe this was the problem. we also got a curt, "goodnight", on the way out.
never again, houston's. do not try to be something you are not! you are just a corporate restaurant!

i'll see you next week.... this place is a win!! im not a heavy eater, but when i eat, i eat good & have a very particular palette for food!
the couscous is really the best ive ever had...great combination of flavor and texture, oh my!! who knew i'd rave over couscous...?
and the artichokes, an absolute delight!! these chokes were fresh, tender & meaty... yumm!
