great place. great food.. don't let the strip mall setting throw you - thisplaceis a find. the food is fresh, fresh, fresh. and the pizza - the pizza is something you'll crave - it will draw you back!

the pizza dough is the perfect - thin, but not a cracker - it's just right to support the uber-fresh topping options. you can create your own or select from their combinations.

don't forget to check the special sheet! the other night they had a delicious broccoli starter and a pizza called a pug (caramelized onions, butternut squash, pistachios, and white cheeses - yum).

hearth has some really awesome neapolitan pizza using fresh ingredients and home-cured meats. this is perhaps my favorite pizzaplaceoutside the perimeter - they do a fantastic job. i'm also a big fan of the arugula salad.

this is my favorite pizzaplacein atlanta, i am a huge fan of wood-fired pizzas and hearth is theplaceto go. 'mama says eat your veggies' and 'ring of fire' are awesome pies and the eggplant chips are delicious. they have a full service bar and an alfresco setting to add to the food. it is oneplacewe take all our friends to and recommend over and over again...

great pizza. thanks to urbanspoon, i found this place. arrived at 5:30p on sunday. restaurant was 1/2 full and i sat at bar.
ordered a beer (terrapin mosaic red ale) & the house meatball pizza.

pizza arrived in record time and was amazing. meatballs had good flavor. the small pie was perfect size.

great food. my husband and i found thisplaceby accident. we have been back four times in three months.

great ingredients. i went to grab a bite for dinner on sunday night as i'm in town for business. the wait was well over an hour for a table, so i went to the end of the bar and ordered a 12" fun guy pizza (a bunch of different types of mushrooms and red onions). the service was excellent. the brick oven pizza came quickly even though they were slammed, and the crust, ingredients, and pizza were great. i would definitely recommend thisplaceto eat. it looked like they had a decent bar as well. the pizza was a tad pricey ($18) but far, far superior to the chain pizza that people somehow eat.

now that's a pizza!. i stopped in for lunch to see what thisplacewas all about. somehow it had managed to stay under my radar, even though it's just a couple exits down from my office. i'm definitely glad i finally happened upon hearth.
the decor is really nice; exposed brick walls, lots of dark wood, very nice bar, not-to-dim lighting. the service was very friendly and helpful. he told us what the most popular items on the menu were, but then told us his personal favorites as well, which i like.
i decided to go with one of the daily special pizzas and chose the fall river classic. it's topped with chili oil, hearth's signature cheese blend, sauteed kale, gulf shrimp, clams, homemade portuguese chorizo, red onion and cilantro. this is one tasty pie! i personally find that "seafood" pizzas tend to be disappointing, but this one was superb! it may very well be one of the best pizzas i've ever had. the thin crust was nice and crispy, but not burnt. the chili oil added a slight touch of heat, while the clams and shrimp were very fresh tasting. the chorizo was very tasty and added its own bit of heat as well. every topping was discernible on the palate and wasn't lost among the others.
if the other pizzas are made with this same amount of quality and attention to detail as this one, then i can easily see thisplacebecoming one of my favorites. as for now, based off of one (amazingly good) pizza, i definitely recommend hearth.

wish i had aplacelike this at home. hearth was a second choice after our first lunch destination was closed. next time we come to atlanta, hearth will not take second place. we were immediately curious when we saw one of the specials was a brussels sprout appetizer. it was delicious, fresh, cheesy, and bacon-y thanks to the pancetta. i'm not sure its on the menu all the time, so snatch them when they have them. the ring of fire pizza was yummy, not overwhelmingly spicy, but i also picked off a few jalapenos near the end. i love a crunchy crust with a bit of chew, and hearth delivered on that. in a city of heavy southern cooking, hearth was a wonderful light lunch for two.

what makes a "favorite" restaurant?. my husband and i live in sandy springs, and we've been going to hearth since it opened. i can only say great things. the food is delicious, the atmosphere is convivial and fun, and the people who work there are extremely nice. sometimes my husband and i talk about how to define one's "favorite" restaurant. is it the fanciest, most impressive haute-cuisine restaurant you've ever been to? or is it theplaceyou find yourself wanting to go again and again-on your best day or your worst-because you feel comforted, warmed, and cheered by the experience and meal? and we decide that between those 2 definitions, there's no contest. hearth wins the title of "our favorite restaurant" every time.

excellent pizza, excellent service. rarely are staff very knowledgeable in food and alcohol, thisplacehas both. we have eaten at some great pizzerias here and abroad, and have to honestly say thisplaceranks as top 5 ever. definitely will come back. wish more places were like this. great job!

loved it!. greatplaceto eat freshly made pizza! also a greatplaceto bring your family. the atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly and answer all the questions you migth have. the also interact with the people. the drinks are great and very well priced. looking forward to going again

so good!. drove by thisplacefor a year before finally trying it last night and kinda upset with myself for not stopping in sooner! great beer list and manly cocktails served by the sweetest bartender who made sure i wanted for nothing. started with a watermelon and arugula salad that was very refreshing and spot on, next came an unbelievable pizza that of course i created with an exceptional list of items to choose from. i grew up in chicago and lived in sf and ny...three great pizza towns, thisplacecould rival some of the best out there.
crisp crust, a perfect sauce that complimented the ingredients and didn't make the pizza soupy like some sauces tend to do...can't wait to go again and try some other pizza creations!!!

you must try this place. we wanted to try out thisplacesince it received good reviews and we were very happy with our decision! the pizza is fresh, tastes wonderful and is very nicely priced! its one of the most flavorful pizza's we've had! forget california pizza kitchen, we will be going back to try each of their pizza's. the meatball pizza was a definite winner. you must try if you are in the sandy springs area. drinks are very inexpensive as well. the bar is fun and the environment is great!

if you like pizza than thisplaceis a must. not only is the food great but the prices are very reasnable. pizza is half off during the week before six.

awesome pizza!. thisplaceis awesome. their pizza is excellent and the service was great. really tasty appetizers - the eggplant chips are to die for. be sure to try some of the new haven style (a la pepe's pizza) specialties. not to be missed!
