thisplaceis awful. the young hostess with the blonde hair was very rude. the steak was dry. the risotto had no flavor. the brussel sprouts were drenched in vinegar. we skipped dessert because we were scared to try it, everything else was so gross. go to a good local steak house and spend the money there. this is a total tourist trap.

atmosphere and service was very good. food was good but not great. for this price, we expected much better flavors as food was a little bland. my son and i had steak which was a little dry. we also had seafood and pasta dishes which were very good. overall it was a goodplacebut not the best. if your looking for a great place, this is not it.

somewhat weird decor but phenomenal food! great service! a bit pricy for some items but not too bad. you will hate yourself if you pass thisplaceup and especially the prime rib!

i just ate with my family and it was possible the most overratedplacewe have ever been. the hotel we stay at has far better food for 1/3 of the price.

our favoriteplacein myrtle...come every year and never dissapointed. i read some negative comments on here and my response is if you want outback prices go there, if you want 2000 calorie meals there are plenty of bad buffets here and the guy that said he spent $1000...not likely unless he had 10+ people....2 meals, 3 kids meals, 4 glasses of wine, tax, 20% tip came to $153. i've spent more elsewhere and didn't get near the quality.

our favoriteplacein myrtle beach...the stripwood steak is awesome, everything is really good. priced well for finer dining and family friendly...you must go!!!!

i've eaten here 3 times over the last few years. each time was excellent. theplaceis clean, the staff professional and the outside deck is great. it's worth the extra $$ to dine here.

food and service is vry good. as others mentioned, dinner can be a little pricy, yet it is worth it, happy hour in the lavish bar is an experience, the wholeplaceis really well laid out well and your eyes will roam.

i usually go there for lunch and show the myrtlebeachpromotions.com fundraising book and get 50% off the 2nd lunch, so far, this year i have eaten there with the discount 5 times, maybe 6, i will get this discount anytime during 2011.

greatplacefor happy hour 3-6. if interested in eating apps the bar is theplaceto go. if looking for dinner a little more costly but will have an excellant experience. one of our favorites when in town.

worstplacei've ate at in s long time. total tipoff. ceasar salad was 4 large whole pieces of lettuce which i had to cut up. do not waste your time! dining there was a total joke.

i love this restaurant! since the year it opened thisplacehas been a fixture into every golf trip and family vacation i have taken. i will confess, it is not the best steak i have had but it is better than the other chain steakhouses like ruths chris or mortons. but the atmosphere here is fantastic! if you like wine, make a 7 pm reservation but get there at 6 to enjoy the happy hour in the lounge. great bar area with fantastic view of the intercoastal. norman's wines are top notch, highly recommend the petit syrah. the food: the calamari appetizer is prepared perfectly with a unique spicy sauce. the filet mignon is better than average, the prime rib is surperb, and the lobster ravioli was to die for. you will soak up the bisque-sauce with bread, it's that good. finish with the turtle cheesecake but skip the creme brûlée. service here is top notch, dining area is very comfortable. add the view and you have a great night out from the "great white shark"!!!
