really lovely setting , service and food. felt very unpretentious, but with well presented food and flavors. we had the tasting menu which was a great way to do it. it was very reasonable at $36 a head. wines were a perfect compliment.

100% for both the food and the wines we had (sparkling brut, pinot noir, sparkling rosé). as a retired chef and oenologist, i could definitely feel the hand of a master of the kitchen in the food, its preparation and presentation. my compliments to the wine makers as well. after the comprehensive tasting menu (very generous and well priced at $36 p.p.) my wife and i indulged in an excellent cheese platter. the impeccable service and the captivating views of the vineyards created a perfect frame. i can highly recommend this place. we will certainly be back more than once.

this winery gets 10/10 for the food and the view, however, the wine is a little disappointing. the tasting menu ($35.00 pp) is recommended and we had this with a bottle of the sparkling rose ($35.00).

lunch with a great view. food was good but it was rather tiny and pricey. we enjoyed ourselves and were left feeling hungry though we ordered more than 5 dishes. i'd come here again if cups estate was booked out.

gorgeous spot for an afternoon snack and a bottle of wine looking out over vineyards and orchards. love the tasty food plates and of course the wines and leave with a few bottles for dinner. we've been several time to impress visitors, or just to enjoy ourselves.
(extra points this summer when we blundered our car into a storm drain, when they were peak busy, and the owner himself pried us out without missing a beat. i would not have been so gracious! but then we scored a spot in the corner under the trees and boy the rose tasted nice after that drama.)

cute little winery and kitchen in red hill. food was simple but wonderfully presented. there was a "feed me" option for $36 per person, but we chose to go for a la carte dishes... trying the atlantic salmon with miso mayo dressing, pork and veal meatballs with yoghurt sauce, and the bbq quail.
atlantic salmon was delicious although small in portion size. the miso dressing paired perfectly with the fish.
meatballs were heavy in coriander which was not to my taste. the yoghurt sauce was quite plain and could have use some herbs in it- maybe dill or chives?
quail was dainty and well cooked and charred.
at $12 per plate of small sharing dishes, we left still feeling like we had a few snacks rather than lunch.
the sparkling shiraz was divine, and we promptly bought a couple of bottles to take home.
service was attentive and polite; and the view and seating arrangements (outdoors on steps with stool-style tables) was unique and fun yet classy.
overall a nice and refined place to bring friends and visitors for special occasions or if you're feeling a bit fancy.

more of a place where you go for a light lunch than a full blown meal. the views of the vineyard makes you think you're in italy, absolutely stunning on a summers day.

came here last weekend for the first time after being recommended by lots of people. the hype was high about this place so i was going in wth high expectations, and safe to say, it meet those expectations. the place is stunning. we sat outside in the sun with a gorgeous view of the vineyard. cause it was hot (41degrees) we thought we would get a couple of glasses of rose to go with the feed me menu. the wine was perfect and the food was even better. best dish for me was he mushroom sausage roll or the tomato and feta dish. overall, perfect spot for a late afternoon lunch after travelling round he peninsula doing wine tastings. highly recommend this place to anyone.

definitely my favourite lunch option in red hill. make sure you get there early as by 12pm the place is jam packed! the service is incredibly friendly and the tapas style menu is delicious. the chef selection lunch option for $35 is great value and makes for a very relaxing afternoon! love this place!

this place is in s beautiful setting with some great views. as a dining experience it's not a foodie's place. the menu is really limited and the portions are small. it's ok if you are looking for some nibblies and wine but not as a meal. vegetarian options are quite poor.

foxey's is a red hill gem. gets busy so get in early for lunch on the weekend or settle in with a tasting to choose your lunchtime drop whilst you wait. the menu changes daily depending on the fresh produce available...i suggest just asking the extremely friendly and helpful staff to bring you a selection of everything. at approx $30 per head...pretty good value and you won't leave hungry. mushroom sausage rolls a regular...delicious. combine this with a variety of other modern tapas style dishes and bottle of shiraz and you have a great way to spend a weekend afternoon...view pretty good too :)

foxeys hangout in red hill unashamedly serves simple dishes designed to pair with wines. and this makes sense when you realise the chef is also a qualified winemaker. the chefs menu gives you a wide range of dishes to taste for a reasonable $35 per person and this is the option we would recommend.

love the laid back informal feeling foxey's hangout brings to the table. hanging out on the deck overlooking the spectacular vines & grazing on share plates is a weekend well spent. all plates are $11, & if you can't decide op for the chefs menu to taste a bit of everything for $35pp.

great place for a relaxing lunch. can be uncomfortable in winter outside whilst waiting for a table. maybe outside heating needs to be investigated?
view and setting is fantastic. service was warm, attentive and very welcoming.
food portions are way too small and by the time you satisfy your hunger the bill ends up very steep due to constant reordering.

still good food - septic stinks. i like the arrangement at foxey's; i like sitting outside, the view is pleasant and it so much quieter. the food is superb and the wine lovely. it was my second visit and the 1st time was perfect. this time we took friends and unfortunately for both them and us we were assaulted by waves of an overused septic odour. so while i said i liked it, i did not like this aspect and this has put me off returning. come on foxey's; you're making big dollars. don't squib on dealing with your septic.
