hoy jaw + hung lay, you guys.. here's the deal:fork& stix is the best thai food i've had in st. louis. by far. admittedly i haven't been to every thai restaurant in the city, and if i taste something better, i'll update this review. but for now, it's the best. they serve northern thai food, which makes it unique. the flavors {sweet + spicy} are bold and the textures are exactly as they should be. when you go tofork& stix, it's off the beaten path of the loop...a little quieter, a little more relaxing...like your own little thai mecca. and it's approachable. if you've never eaten thai food, or if you're not that adventurous of an eater, trust me...you'll still likefork& stix. if you are adventurous, you'll have even more fun.
get the hoy jaw {fried dumplings w/crab and shrimp mixed with minced pork and served with a thai sweet chili sauce} and the hung lay curry {it involves pork belly, pork loin, and an addictive curry that seems to hail more from india than thailand...sweet, sour, and spicy}. you'll love it.
