all they do is custardcreampuffs, that is all and it’s amazing!

what’s the rule - if there’s a line, get in it! coz if it’s good it’s worth waiting for.

such an amazing price - $5 for 18 delicious bites of heaven - yes!!!!

if there's a more authentic chinese bakery around the area then i haven't been there yet. the somewhat 'grimy' appearance only adds to its chinatown-esque charm. all the usual stuff is there (egg tarts, red bean pastry, sweet melon puffs etc) and more. also try thecreampuffs outside, you can't miss it because of the huge queue snaking around, though i feel it's not the main attraction compared to the stuff sold inside.

cream puffs ($5/15)
⭐️ 4/5 ⭐️
🍴affordable and delicious #creampuffs that draw a constant queue. located in chinatown, this small shop that’s a portion of #emperorsgardencakeandbakery serves hot and freshly madecreampuffs out of a small window. we love that the puffs are highly affordable, wasn’t too sweet, and of a nice chewy fluffy texture.

beautcreampuffs!
whenever i walk past the huge line queuing for the emperor garden'screampuffs, i'm always curious as to what it tasted like. at first i thought it was a tourist trap, but when you have locals (and tourists) alike lining up, then it must be good. so after work on monday i decided to line up for a try :)

price 10/10 - 35 cents per puff, $5 for 20, hectik price, cheap af, make sure you buy heaps for you, friends and da fam.

cream puff 9.5/10 - soft cakey goodness then a creamy hit when you bit into the centre, plus its very small sized so great to eat as a snack. only point off was that the hotcreamscalded my tongue, but gains 0.5 points because that means it was made fresh :)

service - friendly cantonese woman making the puffs, but they don't let you take pics/film the actual process

the massively long lines (which seem to be there all the time) put you off (as it deterred me many times) but its definitely worth it to try this delicacy!

this seems to be a sydney institution but what exactly is the appeal? cheap tummy filler. so even if you don’t fancycreampuffs, you have very little to lose to try it monetarily.

other dessert joints may set you back a bit if the taste isn’t up to scratch but this one is a gamble with

heard great things about this place and we happened to walk past it so we decided to check it out.

there wasn’t much of a line when we went so we didn’t have to wait long. super affordablecreampuffs that are baked fresh. we purchased 9 for only $3 and they were piping hot when the staff passed it to us.

they smelt amazing and tasted great too! love how the dough is chewy and the custard inside is not too sweet. but they were nothing special as i felt that i could eat these anywhere. definitely tasty if you are wanting some cheap eats though!

emperor’s gardencreampuffs. a chinatown institution. the lines are long and the service is abrupt, but these hot, custard filled little balls are worth it. last night during our wait in the queue we were treated to a kid trying to master the kickflip, while his friends rated him on his form. his friend, no matter what, wouldn’t give him a 9/10 – a score reserved for the greats. at one stage he told him “you’re no tony hawk,” which is true.

hole in the wall. literally. but serves really hot custamrd buns orcreampuffs as they'd call it here. mildy sweet and really easy on the tummy, these hot custard filled buns are a delight! don't expect gourmet and savor the cheap fillings of china town. great job guys.

the emperor has a big army of followers, and there are good reasons why people are so addicted to the emperor'screampuff. it's soft, slightly crispy, sweet, creamy and super cheap. the only nasty part is lining up, but it's worth the wait. i give thecreampuff 4 bears.

bestcreampuffs in sydney, always fresh and hot - be careful of burning your mouth. well worth the wait. always a staple if you happen to be walking through chinatown.

there was a huge line when we came here to buy some of thecreampuffs. we bought a whole box of them since they seemed so popular. the actualcreampuff was delicious and warm - freshly cooked. the pastry was soft and melted in your mouth.

this little hole in the wall makes the bestcreampuffs! $5 for a box of 15, how could you go wrong. best eaten when hot but becareful the custard does get very hot and may burn your tongue. the batter of the puff itself mixed with the custard, just yum!

all you can say it that it is incredibly cheap and i've come here since i was a kid so it's also nostalgic to get thesecreampuffs after dinner. usually the line is either super long or super short i swear there is no in between.
