i was intent on trying it and found the gozleme itself was pretty crispy and the taste and filling did make up for the serving size with agreatduck and cheese mix that was very tasty.

excellent taste of turkey. i visited on sunday and was in for a turkish feast at meze bar. the lebanese beers were outstanding, very unique and agreatway to start. dips with fresh bread took the edge off my hunger and set the stage for all to come. kofta, eggplant, delicious liver & onion (not like your grandma made!), salmon with artichokes and okra, and even lamb testicles for those wiling to go the extra mile down the taste extravaganza! i finished with a dessert plate, with all 3 desserts and a pistachio coffee, which was sweet and rich and perfect. love my meal,greatservice & can not wait to get back for more!

it was such a special lunch at efendy! we had the edendy feast to enjoy many different kinds of dishes. guess what...we had amazing food!!

if you are planning to order the feast, you have to get ready for a big meal! you will be so full after this...

the staff were helpful and friendly. even though it was a hot day, the table outside was very pleasant.the food lookedgreatand were divine. i personally enjoyed skewed chicken and lamb pizza kind of thing. and the slow cooked lamb was tender and juicy. i loved turkish mess dessert! it’s so creamy, sweet and beautifully presented.

they have special breakfast menu between 9am to 2pm so i’d love to try it next time!

beautiful breakfast in a leafy courtyard.greatvalue and friendly service. the coffee was spot on and the sucuk was delicious! highly recommended for a tasty alternative to the monotony of everyday eggs on toast.

i went there with my wife for a sunday breakfast. it was a generally positive, and i may come back to try out lunch/dinner material.

pros:
*greatvariety of food in the breakfast including tasty bread.
* free tea refill is great!.
* nice location with beautiful outdoor seating.

cons:
* portions small.
* only 1 turkish pita offered per person

i think that if more pitas were offered, i would be fine with the portion sizes. actually, the variety is awesome, and there are different types of jam and cheese, but i did not appreciate that my only small pita was over so fast and i had to eat the rest of the cheese and jam using a fork.

came here for breakfast over the weekend with my family. the set menu is versatile and reallygreatvalue for $30. the menu is all inclusive and serves more than enough varieties of dips, breads, fruits and cheeses. finishing with some eggs and sujuk. the staff were attentive and friendly and the restaurant was gorgeous. certainly would recommend the breakfast but bring an open mind to try it all and a big appetite.

delicious, healthy,greatvalue turkish food with good wine in a friendly, comfortable ambience. we read a couple of recent less complimentary reviews & we a little wary but our experience was entirely positive

we started off with the dips of capsicum humus with pastirma, pistachio chili smoked babaganush and the walnut, capsicum muhammara all came with freshly baked bread as per pictures. all the dips were delectable with the soft fresh bread.

for mains we got share plates which consisted of: zucchini, feta and walnut gozleme, bosphorus fried mussels with white tamara, white hot chicken wings with mint yoghurt and sautéed scotch fillet, capsicum, tomato, chilli, flat pide. everything was superb! quite filling for 6 people.

the restaurant also had their own home made chilli pickles which was hot but not boiling to the point you needed milk ;p.

overall agreatexperience as it was my first time visiting, yet will not be my last :).

i had been wanting to try efendy for some time and finally made it for dinner on a saturday night with friends. it was a balmy end of summer night and we were lucky enough to get one of the tables outside. the staff were very attentive and helpful with our orders. with two quasi vegetarians , we needed plenty of green stuff in the order, but it was easily done without sacrificing taste. to start we had the very good humus with pomegranates. baba ganuj, beer battered black mussels and the bomba, a really tasty dish of smoked eggplant, feta, and haloumi. for mains we had sardines, duck borek (delis)h , salads and gorgeous melting off the bone  slow cooked lamb. all the food wasgreatand i am looking forward to going back and trying some more of their very good menu.

fresh, authentic turkish food. had a family dinner here with some elderly aunties. excellent variety of dishes to keep everyone happy, seeing as majority of our table are vegetarians. fresh flavoursome food withgreatservice. i always make a habit of dining here even though i live far away from balmain. thank you efendy for agreatnight out :)

agreatdining experience. finally made it to efendy's after many recommendations and it didn't disappoint. delicious food, attentive service, courses served at perfectly timed intervals and cosy indoor spot with the fireplace on. we shall return, and introduce this restaurant to many friends.

great restaurant withgreatservice! went for an anniversary dinner but will definitely be going back again! we had the traditional platter for $65 a head and it was amazing. the home made hummus with paprika and chilli was superb but the twice cooked lamb was to die for!!!
