great food experience. wonderful, fresh food, with some inventive twists. i ate there twice while in fairhope, and tried many of thetacosand appetizers. the tuna taco was a standout for me, but everything was just great. loved the turnip "fries"-weird little veggie that takes darned well to this treatment, to my surprise! the friend oysters on blue cheese stuffed toasts were divine, but share them-very rich. dragonfly was a real surprise to find. great staff.

greattacos- these are not udon noodles!. my husband had the shrimp and the oyster tacos. he said they are the best! i had the coconut curry chicken bowl with udon noodles. the udon noodles were fettuccini noodles! there is such a difference in these two noodles. so therefore, i did not like my dish for this reason. the red curry was very mild. yes - we will visit again!

my wife and i went here for the first time tonight and it was amazing! when you walk up its a little confusing because you see a bunch of people sitting outside you have to walk past to actually get to the hostess. they were packed when we went, but the weather was nice so we chose to sit out side instead of the wait. server was at our table within a minute taking drink orders. we both had a variety of tacos, i got the 2 dollar taco special which was a chicken curry. my second was the blacked ribeye, third (and my favorite of the three) was the seared tuna tacos. all three were great but the wasabi sauce paired with the perfectly seared tuna stole the show. my wife really enjoyed hertacosalso. what i really liked they had about 10 different choices, and you could pick them individually as you wanted. and after reading the variety on the menu, you get as many different ones as you can eat! great food, good service even while busy. this place has become are go to taco tuesday spot!

fun and inventive. the crab fritters were very crisp flavorful, and not at all greasy. thetacoswere all decent, and the flour tortillas seemed slightly fried for an interesting texture. the grouper taco special was also tasty. it was definitely something different for the area.

amazing eclectic food!. this place was an incredible find. it was our second choice after another place was closed and we have no regrets. the place was very quaint and clean on the inside with a very friendly and informative wait staff. at one look at the menu our jaws dropped. it looks to be inspired by all sorts of different cuisine; mexican, korean, japanese, thai, cajun, and more. we order mostlytacosall if which were delicious, especially the salmon, ny strip steak, and the soft shell crab. the curry lamb was nothing special. the bowls looked great too. we only order the braised lamb and it was spectacular. the deserts are all homemade and spectacular as well. chai gelato was great. would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a foodie tongue! can't say enough good things

this place will turn your taste buds into adrenaline junkies!. like it? no....i love it!!! this little restaurant dares to be different! chef doug kerr is inventive and adventurous in preparing his menu! i never know what to expect when i go in for a visit, but i'm never disappointed with what i get. it can get somewhat expensive, but you get what you pay for. only the best ingredients are used at the dragonfly, so naturally prices must compensate. however, with that being said, i guarantee you, you'll not find a more unique experience with food anywhere in this area than this restaurant. the gourmettacosand noodle bowls are delicious and unforgettable. the specials are insane and amazing! a must try for anyone looking for something extraordinary on the eastern shore!

superb/unique. just what fairhope needs, simply divine/trendy ambiance. the combination of flavors the chef creates fortacosare something you normally wouldn't imagine however truly melts in your mouth and burst with flavor. absolutely delicious. nice wine selection as well as imported beer. portions are perfect, you leave feeling satisfied and not overally stuffed. cannot wait to experience the place while music is playing. simply devine!!!

yummy cool and charlie!. dragonfly is fantastic! charlie, my server was a great representation of the restaurant. the food was fabulous! while i had salad very similar to a wedge the blue cheese tempura was to die for! as charlie put it they really are all about their tapastacosas well! delicious and an extremely cool concept! keep it up doug good job!!!

love it!. doug kerr is a master! i've followed him for over 10 years and his food creations are consistently delicious. the dragonfly foodbar menu includes some inventive variations oftacosand noodle bowls. i wanted to try everything. his server, glen, is always a pleasure to visit with too. we will be back soon.

finally a restaraunt in fairhope with fresh, quality food. the uniquetacosare sure to please anyones palette. my personal favorite would be the tempura lobster taco...this one you have to try! or the pork carnitas with habanero apple is a sure bet as well. just sayin, this guy knows good food and it's nice to have his talent and creativity here in fairhope.
