best kept secret in fairhope! quirky layout, artsy decor, creative menu, great service. prices aren't bad either. go wednesday for $3 wine night.

disappointed again. bottom line if you are going to charge 8 or 10 dollars for an ok taco and i mean 1 taco served in a paper cup no less than make a good martini! there are items on that menu that clearly have blue cheese. requested blue cheese olives in my martini told sorry no, also asked for vermouth and it and it came without! crappy martini! then i ordered a glass of rose, told sorry out! server sucked and had a "can't do attitude"! thisplaceis overpriced and overrated!

my wife and i went here for the first time tonight and it was amazing! when you walk up its a little confusing because you see a bunch of people sitting outside you have to walk past to actually get to the hostess. they were packed when we went, but the weather was nice so we chose to sit out side instead of the wait. server was at our table within a minute taking drink orders. we both had a variety of tacos, i got the 2 dollar taco special which was a chicken curry. my second was the blacked ribeye, third (and my favorite of the three) was the seared tuna tacos. all three were great but the wasabi sauce paired with the perfectly seared tuna stole the show. my wife really enjoyed her tacos also. what i really liked they had about 10 different choices, and you could pick them individually as you wanted. and after reading the variety on the menu, you get as many different ones as you can eat! great food, good service even while busy. thisplacehas become are go to taco tuesday spot!

amazing eclectic food!. thisplacewas an incredible find. it was our second choice after anotherplacewas closed and we have no regrets. theplacewas very quaint and clean on the inside with a very friendly and informative wait staff. at one look at the menu our jaws dropped. it looks to be inspired by all sorts of different cuisine; mexican, korean, japanese, thai, cajun, and more. we order mostly tacos all if which were delicious, especially the salmon, ny strip steak, and the soft shell crab. the curry lamb was nothing special. the bowls looked great too. we only order the braised lamb and it was spectacular. the deserts are all homemade and spectacular as well. chai gelato was great. would definitely recommend thisplaceto anyone with a foodie tongue! can't say enough good things

thisplacedeserves to be on your "must eat" places list! the service, the atmosphere and the food are all excellent and i'm glad we sampled a variety of their dishes. i had a bowl of spicy udon noodles, pork and baby spinach, which i chowed down quickly! my wife had a spinach salad and a shrimp tempura taco that was amazing. we added a little extra heat with their homemade dragon sauce that was spicy good and full of flavor! i was still wanting more, so we finished it off with a plate full of fried turnip fries that were delightful! glen provided us with exceptional service and i think we talked with the owner, who was passionate about the food, shared his insight about his menu and even sent us home with some dragon hot sauce! we can't wait to go back!

one of a kind!. thisplaceis one that you just can't replicate. fantastic! chef/owner, dough kerr puts together ever changing creations only he could assemble. great job brother!

thisplacewill turn your taste buds into adrenaline junkies!. like it? no....i love it!!! this little restaurant dares to be different! chef doug kerr is inventive and adventurous in preparing his menu! i never know what to expect when i go in for a visit, but i'm never disappointed with what i get. it can get somewhat expensive, but you get what you pay for. only the best ingredients are used at the dragonfly, so naturally prices must compensate. however, with that being said, i guarantee you, you'll not find a more unique experience with food anywhere in this area than this restaurant. the gourmet tacos and noodle bowls are delicious and unforgettable. the specials are insane and amazing! a must try for anyone looking for something extraordinary on the eastern shore!

thisplacewas recommended by someone and i can't wait to thank them. the dining experience was amazing. i had the tuna wasabi taco, lobster taco, and firecracker shrimp taco. i also ordered the garlic creamed spinach. folks, it was food of the gods. the service was incredible. my drink? a vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. prices are very reasonable! my next trip into town will certainly bring me back.

what a great change of pace and a different menu from every otherplacein town

superb/unique. just what fairhope needs, simply divine/trendy ambiance. the combination of flavors the chef creates for tacos are something you normally wouldn't imagine however truly melts in your mouth and burst with flavor. absolutely delicious. nice wine selection as well as imported beer. portions are perfect, you leave feeling satisfied and not overally stuffed. cannot wait to experience theplacewhile music is playing. simply devine!!!

my girlfriend and i go to dragonfly probably 2 or 3 times a month. the food is nothing short of excellent, easily the best in town. the staff is friendly and engaging. i like that you can see the goings on in the kitchen and that proprietor, doug kerr, is usually on hand. there hasn't been a menu item i've eaten that i didn't think myself "wow, that was really good". save room for the homemade gelato. check thisplaceout, you won't be dissatisfied... and if you are, go to wendy's where you belong.

we are dragonfliers!. we had such a great time on our night out at dragonfly. the food and service were excellent! there is no otherplaceyou can go around here and experience such a diverse and delicious menu and be treated so well. the chef came out and talked with us while we ate. when i told him i was going to order the seared tuna, he said he would whip me up something special that was not on the menu. there is no otherplacearound here that would do that for you. we will be "dragonfliers" from here on out.

yes, yes, yes! so i went back today and i'm happy to report that it's still great! service is impeccable, daily specials are inventive, and the regular menu extraordinary. so glad thisplaceis located in fairhope.
