better food than the bad reviews, by a long shot. typicalservicefor places relying on millenials, also better than the negative reviews. well worth trying when you're not dressed up and want something good that's not pizza, fried, or a chain.

my wife and i went here for the first time tonight and it was amazing! when you walk up its a little confusing because you see a bunch of people sitting outside you have to walk past to actually get to the hostess. they were packed when we went, but the weather was nice so we chose to sit out side instead of the wait. server was at our table within a minute taking drink orders. we both had a variety of tacos, i got the 2 dollar taco special which was a chicken curry. my second was the blacked ribeye, third (and my favorite of the three) was the seared tuna tacos. all three were great but the wasabi sauce paired with the perfectly seared tuna stole the show. my wife really enjoyed her tacos also. what i really liked they had about 10 different choices, and you could pick them individually as you wanted. and after reading the variety on the menu, you get as many different ones as you can eat! great food, goodserviceeven while busy. this place has become are go to taco tuesday spot!

great food. i don't know what others were complaining about but the food was great! theservicewas laidback but very friendly. they even gave me free desert that was great also.

customerservicewas awful!.servicefrom the waitress was completely incompetent . after notifying manager there was a problem with my food he acted as if he didn't care and did not offer to take it back and correct the issue. i would not recommend this establishment.

this place deserves to be on your "must eat" places list! the service, the atmosphere and the food are all excellent and i'm glad we sampled a variety of their dishes. i had a bowl of spicy udon noodles, pork and baby spinach, which i chowed down quickly! my wife had a spinach salad and a shrimp tempura taco that was amazing. we added a little extra heat with their homemade dragon sauce that was spicy good and full of flavor! i was still wanting more, so we finished it off with a plate full of fried turnip fries that were delightful! glen provided us with exceptionalserviceand i think we talked with the owner, who was passionate about the food, shared his insight about his menu and even sent us home with some dragon hot sauce! we can't wait to go back!

this place was recommended by someone and i can't wait to thank them. the dining experience was amazing. i had the tuna wasabi taco, lobster taco, and firecracker shrimp taco. i also ordered the garlic creamed spinach. folks, it was food of the gods. theservicewas incredible. my drink? a vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. prices are very reasonable! my next trip into town will certainly bring me back.

we are dragonfliers!. we had such a great time on our night out at dragonfly. the food andservicewere excellent! there is no other place you can go around here and experience such a diverse and delicious menu and be treated so well. the chef came out and talked with us while we ate. when i told him i was going to order the seared tuna, he said he would whip me up something special that was not on the menu. there is no other place around here that would do that for you. we will be "dragonfliers" from here on out.

yes, yes, yes! so i went back today and i'm happy to report that it's still great!serviceis impeccable, daily specials are inventive, and the regular menu extraordinary. so glad this place is located in fairhope.

food bar. food was good, somewhat over priced for the portions. from the name food bar thats what you get. seating is for quick lunch, dinner with a friend. not for large groups or meeting.servicewas ok, could hear goings on in kitchen. almost didn't try place out due to hours not posted anywhere, stopped by several times door locked. over all thoughts. could get more food,lower in price at a mexican or asian restaurant.

judy. dragonfly food bar is my new favorite place to eat lunch and dinner. it is hard to believe that such a treasure is in downtown fairhope, alabama. the food is innovative and delicious. my favorites have been the duck confit taco and arugula salad. today i had foie gras taco, oh my gosh, the combination of tastes was so awesome, i am still shaking my head in wonder. theserviceis topnotch, all servers are friendly and very competent. the chef usually comes and greets as many guests as he can, that is a really nice touch. the restaurant itself is small, but very intimate in the decor. also, there is courtyard seating and it is very new orleansesque. love the place.
