absolutely wonderful!!. love love love this place!!!!! food is unlike anything else i've ever eaten. the staff is phenomenal!!!! doug creates some of the best dishes and drinks!!! and don't get me started on howgoodhis gelato is.

on our short list when we visit fairhope. funky little place with unique menu,goodprices, attentive service.

best kept secret in fairhope! quirky layout, artsy decor, creative menu, great service. prices aren't bad either. go wednesday for $3 wine night.

better food than the bad reviews, by a long shot. typical service for places relying on millenials, also better than the negative reviews. well worth trying when you're not dressed up and want somethinggoodthat's not pizza, fried, or a chain.

disappointed again. bottom line if you are going to charge 8 or 10 dollars for an ok taco and i mean 1 taco served in a paper cup no less than make agoodmartini! there are items on that menu that clearly have blue cheese. requested blue cheese olives in my martini told sorry no, also asked for vermouth and it and it came without! crappy martini! then i ordered a glass of rose, told sorry out! server sucked and had a "can't do attitude"! this place is overpriced and overrated!

my wife and i went here for the first time tonight and it was amazing! when you walk up its a little confusing because you see a bunch of people sitting outside you have to walk past to actually get to the hostess. they were packed when we went, but the weather was nice so we chose to sit out side instead of the wait. server was at our table within a minute taking drink orders. we both had a variety of tacos, i got the 2 dollar taco special which was a chicken curry. my second was the blacked ribeye, third (and my favorite of the three) was the seared tuna tacos. all three were great but the wasabi sauce paired with the perfectly seared tuna stole the show. my wife really enjoyed her tacos also. what i really liked they had about 10 different choices, and you could pick them individually as you wanted. and after reading the variety on the menu, you get as many different ones as you can eat! great food,goodservice even while busy. this place has become are go to taco tuesday spot!

the owner, doug kerr, also lists himself as the foodsmith rather than the chef.  that is an apt description because you see the personal touch with every item served.  everything is fresh, and most items are spicy.  you can ask for some spicy ingredients to be on the side, if you like, to let you customize the heat.  good salads, noodle bowls, and i love the tacos.  wednesday night is $3 wine night.  house wines, with some selection usually, are inexpensive, but still tasty.  they have both inside (which tends to be noisy) and outside seating.

food wasgoodbut our server was stoned. the food wasn't bad at all but our server was obviously high. server was nice but clearly stoned (squinty, red puffy eyes). we had to ask twice for extra sauce. not that bad but kind of annoying. i'm fine if you want to get high, just leave it at home.

mind bogglinglygoodtacos. don't be put off by the oppressively hipsterish atmosphere. the food is amazing.

amazing eclectic food!. this place was an incredible find. it was our second choice after another place was closed and we have no regrets. the place was very quaint and clean on the inside with a very friendly and informative wait staff. at one look at the menu our jaws dropped. it looks to be inspired by all sorts of different cuisine; mexican, korean, japanese, thai, cajun, and more. we order mostly tacos all if which were delicious, especially the salmon, ny strip steak, and the soft shell crab. the curry lamb was nothing special. the bowls looked great too. we only order the braised lamb and it was spectacular. the deserts are all homemade and spectacular as well. chai gelato was great. would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a foodie tongue! can't say enoughgoodthings

will definitely go back. unique menu, friendly service, reasonable prices and verygoodfood make this a definite for a return trip. greens salad with candied pecans, purple onion, sliced omelet-style fried egg, and a lemon vinaigrette was surprisinglygoodand different. the firecracker shrimp taco with spicy asian slaw and the fried oyster taco special were both delicious. finished with a verygoodpeanut butter vanilla gelato. like the salad, a unique combo but it worked and i would have it again.

this place deserves to be on your "must eat" places list! the service, the atmosphere and the food are all excellent and i'm glad we sampled a variety of their dishes. i had a bowl of spicy udon noodles, pork and baby spinach, which i chowed down quickly! my wife had a spinach salad and a shrimp tempura taco that was amazing. we added a little extra heat with their homemade dragon sauce that was spicygoodand full of flavor! i was still wanting more, so we finished it off with a plate full of fried turnip fries that were delightful! glen provided us with exceptional service and i think we talked with the owner, who was passionate about the food, shared his insight about his menu and even sent us home with some dragon hot sauce! we can't wait to go back!

ahhhmazing! the food is verygoodand we get to try something new every time! all time favorite is the seated ahi tuna taco with fresh fried jalepeños! so delicious - you will think of them in your sleep! the special damsel fly (sp) drinks are always delicious! although i wish they kept the strawberry mint on menu every day!!! give it a try you will not be sorry! love df!

big fan!. the last comment sounds more like a tacky ploy to belittle a great restaurant than it does an actual review.
i'm a big fan because its not a matter of only trying to force feed yourself one dish, but being able to sit and enjoy your friends and drinks, with decent portions. i hate when i can't try everything that soundsgoodon a menu. and i have yet to be let down.

but then again i don't drink sw tea with dinner.

yummy cool and charlie!. dragonfly is fantastic! charlie, my server was a great representation of the restaurant. the food was fabulous! while i had salad very similar to a wedge the blue cheese tempura was to die for! as charlie put it they really are all about their tapas tacos as well! delicious and an extremely cool concept! keep it up douggoodjob!!!

limited seating limited menu that seems to think that exotic combinations and tiny servings at robust prices convey some sort of panache and exclusivity. quality isn'tgoodenough to pull it off. try once just for fun and then move on to one of the many better places to eat
