superb/unique. just what fairhope needs, simply divine/trendy ambiance. the combination of flavors the chef creates for tacos are something you normally wouldn't imagine however truly melts in your mouth and burst with flavor. absolutely delicious. nice wine selection as well as imported beer. portions are perfect, you leave feeling satisfied and not overally stuffed. cannot wait to experience the place while music is playing. simply devine!!!

big fan!. the last comment sounds more like a tacky ploy to belittle a great restaurant than it does an actual review.
i'm a big fan because its not a matter of only trying to force feed yourself one dish, but being able to sit and enjoy your friends and drinks, with decent portions. i hate when i can't try everything that sounds good on a menu. and i have yet to be let down.

but then again i don't drink sw tea with dinner.

we love dragonfly. dave and i love dragonfly. it is usually our first choice when we head out to eat. we never had anything other than a pleasant experience and fantastic /unique food.e always take our out of town guests there and they love it, too. in fact, just talking about them makes me think i will go there for lunch tomorrow!

over priced, small portions, limited seating, rude service. it sucked! portions small, over priced, seating was very limited...staff was a mix of rude and shady characters! dirty floors! i will never be back yuck yuck yuck!

wow!!!! fresh ingredients, creative style and delicious food at very affordable prices. check them out on tuesday for $2.00 tuesdays. special tacos and beers for only 2 bucks.

we had the most delicious tuna taco's, wedge salad and mussels, shrimp and scallop risotto bowl ever. their house canernet sauvignon, acre, was excellent. we will go again and again.

i just stopped in this restaurant to use the restroom and decided to take a look at the menu since i had never been in before or heard anything about it. i ended up trying the spring salad and it was awesome! super fresh with a great twist. the server charlie was super helpful in recommending parings. i didn't have any thing other than the salad but two ladies beside me each had the taco's and homemade gelato and said it was a must have for next time. i also noticed they have a small but nice wine and beer selection. can't wait for the next visit!

despicable staff. i can't even judge the food or wine. i was in the dragonfly for several minutes early on a saturday night before they decided to tell me they were closed for a private function. my husband had just gone to the bathroom, so i told them i'd wait for him. they told me i had to leave. when my husband came out, a customer (very apparently the bartender's friend) insulted me. when my husband asked her not to be so rude, the bartender threatened to call the cops! on him if he didn't leave right then. never going back!!!

yummy cool and charlie!. dragonfly is fantastic! charlie, my server was a great representation of the restaurant. the food was fabulous! while i had salad very similar to a wedge the blue cheese tempura was to die for! as charlie put it they really are all about their tapas tacos as well! delicious and an extremely cool concept! keep it up doug good job!!!

i have dined there twice, not terrible, but inconsistent with the taste. dont know what to expect when you order. and staff looks a little shady. also the menu items are a bit pricey.

limited seating limited menu that seems to think that exotic combinations and tiny servings at robust prices convey some sort of panache and exclusivity. quality isn't good enough to pull it off. try once just for fun and then move on to one of the many better places to eat

my girlfriend and i go to dragonfly probably 2 or 3 times a month. the food is nothing short of excellent, easily the best in town. the staff is friendly and engaging. i like that you can see the goings on in the kitchen and that proprietor, doug kerr, is usually on hand. there hasn't been a menu item i've eaten that i didn't think myself "wow, that was really good". save room for the homemade gelato. check this place out, you won't be dissatisfied... and if you are, go to wendy's where you belong.

an asset to fairhop. very diverse menu. so far everything has been wonderful. we drive an hr to get here.

we are dragonfliers!. we had such a great time on our night out at dragonfly. the food and service were excellent! there is no other place you can go around here and experience such a diverse and delicious menu and be treated so well. the chef came out and talked with us while we ate. when i told him i was going to order the seared tuna, he said he would whip me up something special that was not on the menu. there is no other place around here that would do that for you. we will be "dragonfliers" from here on out.

best food in fairhope!. having lived in downtown fairhope since september, i've tried most places... dragonfly is the most creative, most laid back, the warmest employees, and the most fantastic end result on the food that i have had here in town. i highly recommend it!
