just love this place. every turn, you are tempted with sweets and savouries. wished i lived in hobart. if i did, every occasion cake will be from here. we had the baked ricotta cheesecake and it was as light and fluffy as it can be and just delicious. the salmon brioche looks ridiculously good. too bad it's my last night here

mrs. having visited daci & daci on recomendation whilst visiting tasmania from uk, we found the food and cakes very tasty and good sized with the cake display visually mouthwatering (unfortunately i am diaabetic) if we lived in tas we would be back every week. whilst there have been negative comments, remember this is a new business and finding the right staff is never easy. give the business a chance and look forward to all the crinkles being ironed out.

friendly atmosphere...no..... daci daci hadnt been open long and i had heard mixed reviews, i opted just to get a take away coffee and while i was waiting i heard (whom i'm assuming is the owner) a lady yelling at one of the staff out the back...customers dont want to hear things like that! if they cant treat their staff properly, they wont be getting my support.

fancy and delicious bakery, lots of options both savoury and sweet with both indoor and outdoor seating. they charge a little more if you aren't having take away but it's worth it! great bakery!

disappointing!! after hearing mixed reviews thought it was worth trying out for ourselves...to start with my coffee got spilled on the way over and barely mopped up by the waitress...then i realized after drinking my coffee was in fact not soy and i have an allergy to dairy!! no variations on the breakfast or lunch menus so those with intolerances to foods need not bother trialling!! and no eggs on offer :( will not frequent again!!

food as good as anything i got in paris last year with much better coffee thankfully. seats a bit uncomfortable and tables tiny but i couldn't care less, was so busy eating portuguese custard tarts and paris brest with chocolate custard and pears, and salmon avocado with dill mayonnaise on a delightfully springy focaccia.. sigh.

something so beautiful be so ruined by horrible unhappy staff. walked in... ignored. asked for a menu, was pointed in the direction. sat down with the previous customers coffee and water cups. only the coffee cups were cleared after maybe 10 minutes.. water cups remained. shame, looks amazing. but yeah. not coming back and won't be telling any of my friends to visit when they are in town. lift your game or change your horrid staff.

sought out this cafe having read other inviting reviews for our trip to hobart. the cafe window is a show stopper with beautiful merangues jams and cakes that make you ooohhhh and aaaahhh and then you go inside! this is where one can't decide what to have first because everything looks sensational. we went for breakfast & had the 3 toast & house jam which was delish. my dining companion had the berry brioche danish, we had a great tasting coffee. we vowed to return and did so for lunch and had the pork & fennel sausage rolls. these were taste sensations. we then got some cakes to take away - baked ricotta cheesecake, raspberry set custard tart, passionfruit merangues & an orange madeline. we also bought a slab of their strawberry & passionfruit rocky road. we plan to go again before we fly home to get some treats from this amazing place. close to salamancca markets. this cafe is a must to visit when in hobart.

i implore you!
degani in melb are like mcdonalds now.
what a seriously insane, incredibly priced, generous portioned array of deliciousness that greets you as you open the door.

the avocado and goats breakfast was delicious! amazing goat cheese and balance of flavour. the service was also friendly and quick. the almond croissant is a must try with the crispy edges. will definitely be back!

enjoyed brunch here. the vegetarian frittata and the spinach and feta triangle were both delicious, as was the (mini) raspberry danish. wish i'd had time to try more treats. the coffee took quite a while to arrive as the cafe was fairly busy (as i assume it usually is). maybe they should hire a dedicated barista.

a classy and refined environment, excellent for a casual outing and a bakery treat from their impressive selection. service is relatively quick, and the loud music contributes to the busy aura of this inner-city cafe.
