hattiesburg gem. this place is off the chart delicious! the food is amazing, the atmosphere is great &serviceis wonderful! love that they give you the same huge portions even if you order to go! the "special" cheesecake that was served on valentines day was by far the best i've ever had from anywhere! my favorite place for great food!

best meal for miles around!. just ate at cotton-blues! what an experience! had been to nola for 5 days and ate all kinds of food in the top restaurants there! they paled in comparison to the food that cotton-blues served and for a 1/4 of the price! theserviceby ryan was outstanding. the food was hot, fresh, well presented and just plain ole' yummy! i travel a lot and i can easily say, this was one of the best meals that i have eaten out in years! wish this place was near my home!!!

very good. we went on a wednesday afternoon and there were many other diners, but the dining room wasn't crowded. the place is really big. the menu is varied and interesting.
i ordered the blackened redfish oscar. as you can see from the photo oscar topping was loaded with crabmeat. very tasty. the green beans were also delicious. the mashed potatoes were not great, a little dry and bland. but the other food was so good, who cares? my f-i-l ordered the green tomato and blueberry streusel just to see what it was like. you couldn't taste the tomatoes. it was good.
theservicewas spot on. or server checked on us enough without being overbearing. she was knowledge and friendly.
we live 9 hours from here, but if you live nearby go. very good.

i had a nice lunch with a business client. the atmosphere was very comfortable and well decorated. ourservicewas very good. i ordered the blackened shrimp tacos, they were wonderful. i received two tacos with plenty of shrimp including fried jalapeño slices on top. it was plenty to eat. the meal also included a small bowl of grits with a fresh pico type garnishment, it was a great balance to the meal. my client ordered the redfish taco, he said it was delicious. i saw several loaded poor boys being served which also looked delicious. i highly recommend you give it a try.

my first visit to cotton blues blew me out of the water. amazingservicewith a friendly wait staff. the atmosphere of the restaurant is great, and the food is absolutely delicious. i enjoyed every part of my meal and experience, and can not wait for my next dining experience at cotton blues.

my daughter and i thoroughly enjoyed lunch today. the brussels sprouts are delicious, as well as the egg roll and crab cake fettuccine.servicewas fantastic! the owner answered my daughters questions about how they select their meats and produce. we were so impressed by how they make every effort to buy local, organic, and humane products! everything is made in-house and we loved it! the crab cake is actually mostly crab - not just a lot of breading. highly recommend!

cotton blues is a must. today's brunch was absolutely wonderful, with zero complaints. theservicewas impeccable, from the hostess to the waitstaff who very kindly reseated us after we had an extra person join our party.
the food was truly delectable and came out in a timely manner.
our server, gabriel, was top-notch and never let our glasses get empty.

spending only one night in hattiesburg and friends took us to cotton blues. i had a redfish dish with a wonderful sauce, good mashed potatoes with crawfish, and the best greens i've ever eaten. came with cornbread and rustic bread. husband had fried catfish, both winners with us.servicewas great too.

happy anniversary cotton blues! i was one of the first customers to walk through the doors of cotton blues two years ago. as a african american female that go out alone, it is important for me to go to places that i can feel safe and welcomed! cotton blues owner, manager, chef, pastry chef and servers make me feel just that! cotton blues is a wonderful place to eat, drink, listen to live music and greet and meet others! i have met many new friends at cotton blues that look nothing like me! if i've had a bad day the owner & manager knows because they ask ! if the chef hear i'm there he will come speak to me! if i want something special from the pastry chef i call ahead and by the time i get to cotton blues, it's ready! if you like fresh never frozen food cotton blues is for you! this restaurant has no microwave ! cook to order! i know for a fact the owner of cotton blues would never allow his staff to treat others unjust! i am part of the family at cotton blues and i thank them for always making me feel that way! it is my hope that all people will give cotton clues a try, i promise you will not be disappointed, you will not be treated unjust because of the color of your skin, you will get greatserviceand good food!
