i remember when chianti's opened several years back, sometime around 1987. i lived two blocks away. husband was a struggling student.
whenever we could scrape up enough money, chianti's was on our plate.
to me, they set the bar for all caesar salad's, simply because this is the first 'real' caesar i had and the crisp romaine, hints of anchovie...just wonderful. the pesto cream sauce is profoundly enjoyable, as are the fresh pastas and mouthwatering desserts.
it's been years since i've had the opportunity to visit chianti's and i look back at it like a longtime faithful friend that would never let me down.
