second visit. my wife and i enjoyed lunch here today and were very pleased with our meal, we split the chicken strips and had mashed potatoes, and beans and rice as sides, also had an order of their croissants, light , fluffy and delish.
even after sharing the single order we had leftovers which we took home with us, the visit before i had the philly cheese steak sand. it was all i could do to finish it and it was great, we'll be coming here a lot i think !

my wife and i recently tried this café, it was a good pick, good,friendly service and reasonable prices and the best philly cheese steak sand. i 've had this side of philadelphia !

favorite lunch spot. this is a great place to grab lunch, although it does get quite busy.
i got a absolutely delicious bacon cheeseburger with a side caesar salad. the price was just right and the burger was full of flavor.
their spinach dip is also really awesome!

chicken fried steak. was not the best chicken fried steak by far, but it still satified me. what also satisfied me was the price! cant beat the price.

this is partly my fault, but for some reason i ordered french fries as my 2 sides. well, lets just say that i got a portion of one side. there is no way i was given 2 portions of fries. but that wouldnt keep me from going back.

service isn't the best, but this place is always packed. the food is moderately priced and good quality. onion rings are some of the best i've ever had

worst service ever!. our family went down almost toward closing time. the waiter told us to hurry because the kitchen would close. i understood so we hurried. everything we ordered they told us they didn't have and they wouldn't even serve us anymore alcoholic beverages after 10pm. they shut the tv's on us while we were watching the game. i really can't say how the food was because i never got to order anything worth trying. i ended up eating chips and salsa.

good food, horrible service. voted i like it but really was marginal at best. food saved it because the service was absolutely horrible. otherwise, a "didnt like it vote" was in order. the shame of it is that it's been on more than one occasion. have been to other cheddars in other cities and this wasn't an issue there. will not go back to this location.

poor service!. we waited a very long time after being seated, no menus, we actually had to ask! another surprise, the waitress was kind of rude, when we asked if she had any suggestions or specials.
the dining area was really loud, it was very hard to talk to the person sitting next to you.
finally, the food was just ok...i should have sent it back, but i knew that would not make our visit any better. the price was pretty high for what we ordered, it was really not worth the price. i will not go back for any reason, i am very disappointed that they treat their patrons in this manner.
there are much better places to eat in the rgv, better food, atmosphere, service, and prices. don't waste your time at cheddars!!

been here a few times. never gotten out of here in less than 2 hours. the service is insanely slow. food is fine, but the service is abysmal. i never 'choose' to come here. i only come here if i have to meet someone, because i know better.

absolutely horrible. across the board horrendous. we went to eat there at a time that wasn't very busy and received awful service. the food was cold and our server got 3 out of 5 drinks (non-alcoholic) incorrect. i will never go back and will not recommend this place ever.

save some money and lick a dirty tire.. i have had nothing but horrible experiences at this place. the food is reasonably priced, if it was only edible.

give me more croissants!!!. the croissants that come with the salad are delicious. i ordered one of the ciabatta sandwiches before and it was not good at all, the bread was hard as a rock. but the salad was good and very good portions. the drinks are pretty tasty too

at the moment. waited about 35 minutes until my server came to the table and told us that he forgot to put our order in and he just took care of it. we canceled the appetizer and just wanted the dinner. a couple of minutes later the appetizer showed along with one of the two meals the second came about eight minutes later. food was okay not great, could have been the service influencing the taste of our food. tried to charge us for two appetizers and 3 beers which were never ordered. we weren't too pleased with our experience, however i'm willing to give them another chance down the line.
