not good! we already decided what we were eating long before the server came to get our drink order. food was cold and mediocre at best. service was even worse. they got our order wrong, and never came to refill drinks. we had to flag down another server to get the problem taken care of and to have drinks refilled.

good food, iffy service. this place serves good food at even better prices. service is very hit or miss.

my favorite is the spasagna (lasagna made with spaghetti). but, really - everything is good. get an appetizer - they're cheap! the onion rings (huge order) are delicious and only $3.99, but the spinach & artichoke dip is way better (but on the small side).

considering the price, atmosphere, and fast service, it should be a favorite. but, the service is so hit or miss that lately i don't enjoy going anymore.

the waitstaff are either overworked or something -- you'll wait ages for your items to arrive & won't get refill service or a timely check.

they can get really busy, so plan accordingly. generally, the wait is 0-15 minutes, but we have waited over 30 when they are slammed.

note: they (corporate or restaurant itself) won't give you nutrition information on anything. scary.

good value. i tend to get the same thing every time i come here; chicken finger. for $10 i get great chicken fingers, 2 veggies, a salad and their yummy croissants. i always have to take some of the chicken fingers home so i look at this as a great value.
other items look good and the portions always seem to be generous. the problem i have with this place is the service. service seems to be my problem with most restaurants in wichita. the service staff feels like they are out of one of those movie like "waiting".
i guess it just makes it an even better value because you will never need to tip more then 15%.

king of comfort food. i can't wait for an excuse to go to norman so i can eat here. i've tried numerous things on the menu and everything i've ever tried has been fantastic. the prices are very reasonable too, and the portions certainly do not disappoint. i was so bummed when the black eyed pea closed up shop in oklahoma years ago, but now i have cheddars!

the chicken ceasar pasta salad is to die for, i get it every time i go. my neighbors always get the chicken tenders because the breading is better than most places. all i can say for the prices is that the portion size is proportionate to price from what i've seen.

went in for the first time for lunch with my husband and daughter the food was excelent the only thing that bothered me was that our waitress took us our check way before we wore done eating and didn't even bothered to offer dessert:-( other then that everything was great :-)

great for lunch, extremely slow for dinner.. i've eaten lunch at cheddar's several times with a guest or two, and experienced great, quick service and hot, tasty food.

i expected nothing less during their dinner service, and was shocked that it took *an hour* for our entrees (rare steaks with veggies) to arrive. when it did finally arrive, the food was great, but an hour is way too long to wait. (it was about 7 pm when we arrived.)

this may just be a staffing issue if there are different kitchen and/or wait staff for lunch service v. dinner, but i can tell you we won't be back for dinner.

good food, great value, usually good service. the food at cheddar's is actually really good and the portions are large. you will be hard pressed to find another restaurant near by with as much bang for your buck. i usually get the steak and shrimp and my husband gets the salmon. very good, especially for the price. the atmosphere is nice as well. the service isn't spectacular but it's generally pretty good.

i love cheddars versitile menu. i've also never had bad service there and the atmosphere is very quaint. i want to visit again. annddd the baked potato soup is awesome!

can't knock it!. we always get food to go here....usually grilled chicken breast or the salmon w/bourbon glaze.....always really good and good prices, too....very consistent.

food is always great!. the food is always great here no matter what you order. the service is just so-so.

i tried a new sandwich that they recently added to their menu and it was awesome! i would highly recommend it. it is called the napa chicken ciabatta. i have provided a picture of it.

absolutely delicious; unfortunately the waiters are a matter of russian roulette, but i can overlook that because the food is worth it!!!!

horrible service and lack of attention to detail made for a miserable experience. trash and food in our booth and under the table. empty condiments. after waiting 20 minutes to be waited on, had to grab someone to get their attention. food was good but won't be going back.

never again. i have been here twice and didn't like it either time. the food is bland and takes a long time to get to the table. the service is worse and at the last visit was told there was a wait which was fine, but the hostess kept seating people she knew who would just walk in from the street. when confronted, she looked embarrassed and went ahead and seated us.
