in dc on business and the concierge recommended this place when i said i was in the mood for a beer. my waiter, cory was friendly and helpful. the food (fish and chips) was above average, and the beer was great. i was comped a free beer when cory brought the wrong one (i didn't notice but he insisted), and i enjoyed them both. i'll be back for the beer and probably a burger next time. someone dropped off ballpark pretzels at my table without saying anything. i don't know if this is normal, but they were delicious. excellent spicy mustard.

complimentary soft pretzels! service was amazing, our food came out less than 10 minutes after ordering. the steak salad is delicious, steak was cooked perfectly. we were in and out in 35 mins for lunch.

the food was actually great, i just hated that it was so loud! being from colorado, i might be a snob, but the beer was subpar. i won't be back.

stopped in for a couple of beers and was ignored at the bar for 10 minutes. the the bartender was rude. it was nice of the manager to buy our round.

very reasonably priced in downtown washington, dc. family enjoyed grilled chicken sandwich, fish and chips, and bratwurst entrees. draft beers at lunch were $5 each. plus the complimentary pretzels were a hit too. highly recommend this establishment.

stumbled in here since it was directly across from our hotel.  the reviews looked solid so we gave it a shot.  had a big group of 7 and they worked us in very quickly.  service was good.  i really enjoyed the wings that were flavored with old bay seasoning.  we had a wide variety of dishes at our table and everything was good.  jambalaya was noteworthy.  burgers were also good.   this place is solid considering i figured the food would be an afterthought since it was a brew pub as well.

excellent selection of beers with typical american fare/pub food. service at the bar was quick and friendly. a varied selection of micro brewed beers. i had several different ones (i tend to stay in the middle of the spectrum) that were all spot on. we just had some appetizers and they were a perfect addition to the beers. great place!

two blocks from listed address (enter on h street) and a good place for our large group of 12. tasty burgers and beer, mostly brought quicker than expected.

they were very busy for a wednesday evening. but even so, my food came very quickly and was quite good. their house brews were awesome. will definitely visit again when i'm in dc.

food and beer are good. never order your meal and apps at the same time or they will come together. crab dip is very good. just order it, then wait 10 minutes before ordering your meal.

pub food and house made craft beer.  this place is crowded before games, so plan accordingly.  tried most of the beers with a sampler.  they are all solid but none are extraordinary.  service was decent even when crowded.  the food is typical pub grub.  a lot of dishes are designed to absorb alcohol.

quite good pub food. nothing fancy here. this is a brewpub with good beer, reasonable food (i've had several meals here - no dogs yet), and a completely casual atmosphere. no surprises in either direction. popular food, done well, and reasonably priced. i'll be back.

food and beer were good. desserts especially appreciated, particularly the bananas foster bread pudding! i prefer a stronger, ca style ipas, but these were serviceable.
