microbrew in dc. i've stopped here a couple occasions when passing through dc. love the pale rider ale. the food is decent but not exceptional. i go for the beer and generally order a starter or two to go along with it.

fish and chips was good. the turkey burger was good the tuna was good. the stake & cheese sandwich was not good. the beer was good. service was ok.

fun brewery ambience. popular place for dinner. we had attentive service and tasty meal of hummus (starter), fish n chips and a cobb salad. all the dishes we saw go by looked appealing. was here on a friday night at 7:30 pm. house brewed beers excellent.

its ok. it is what it is... the pear salad is canned pears served with blueberry vinigarette - decent. the crab cakes are ok, the tuna appetizer is also just ok. there was too much aoli for my liking (it felt as if they were trying to cover up the taste of the fish) the beers are good though! the hefewiezen was great!

i'm not too impressed with any aspect of this restaurant. features of this restaurant include: they brew their own root beer, serve soft pretzels before every meal, and have a wide menu selection. i strongly advise against ordering anything with chicken in it, because two members of my party who ordered chicken dishes both reported the chicken to be bland and of low quality. my pizza was on par with anything an amateur chef could have whipped up. my brother pointed out that the horseradish served with the pretzels was gnarly.

ate there this evening after waiting 45 minute wait on a sunday evening. when our food arrived two of the orders that were to have french fries with the sandwich had no french fries. we had to bring it to the attention of our server and she replied that they had run out of french fries and didn't offer alternative substitutions, we had to ask if we could have something else instead of fries. we then asked for dessert and we were then told the kitchen was closrf suddenly because they were out of food. however, once we paid our food check about 15 min. later a server came out carrying 2 full order of desserts for another customer. when we mentioned to our server of our observation, she had no excuse. our server was extremely unattentive.
