cactus flower cafe navarre

a coworker recommend cactus flower cafe to me. they were pretty busy but we only waited 10 minutes for our table. our server suggested the burrito to me. it was the size of the plate and delicious. my girlfriend had the crab quesadilla and loved it. the service and food was outstanding.

cactus flower cafe is by far the best mexican cuisine in navarre. we have eaten there since they opened two years ago. the service as well as the food is outstanding! if you haven't tried the mahitacosdo so!

black bean enchilada's. my boyfriend and i went there for the first time on new years eve. they are very vegan friendly. i had black bean enchiladas that were out of this world!!!! the guacomole was the best that we have had. we will be going there on a regular basis now!!

yummy!. the mahitacosare truly the best that i have ever eaten! they also have quite a bit of gluten free options.

i liked the nice atmosphere. the complementary chips were good and i liked the queso dip despite the high cost. as for the meals, the shreddedtacoswere good(had a lot of lettuce though), the pinto beans were excellent and the rice was okay. the prices range from good to a bit much, but they are generally reasonable. great service and i recommend it.

i think this is one of the better restaurants in navarre. the food tasted good and was very flavorful. the server was very attentive as was others that walked by just checking on us. i was a bit surprised by the extra charge for sour cream, it's not guacamole that's is made there which i understand the charge for. we had the enchiladas and fish tacos. both were very good. another thing i was puzzled with was some meals you could sub a salad for the beans but when i did that with the fishtacosmeal i was charged for that substitution. (not everyone likes rice and beans) give this place a try but maybe question the server if they ask if you want sour cream and guacamole.

overall was very pleased with this restaurant. hubby ordered fishtacoswhich were outstanding. i ordered some sort of mexican salad which was also outstanding! only thing that was marginal were the chips. definitely we're not made at the restaurant. salsa was good though! highly recommend.

hit or miss, mostly hit!. with not many places to find great food in navarre, there is a need for cactus flower. i have been several times as i live in seagrove and pensacola, so i pass thru navarre often. tho i really prefer the pensacola location, i have had great food at the navarre location too. thetacos& salads are good, and quesadilla is the best. avoid the chili soup. the wait is long, but the wait staff are kind, making sure you pass the time with a lot of chip and salsa refills.

fish taco's, quesadilla's. i just had to go after reading all of the reviews, and hearing about it from a personal aquaintance. i got the fishtacosafter being told to try them out.
ive never had any kind of fish taco, and the waitress told me before even ordering them, that they had changed the fish, and they might not be as good as before. i liked them...however, they were kinda salty in my opinion. i dont think it was the fish persay...but whatever kind of creamy sauce that was on them. i cant say i would get them again. my daughter and friend got the chicken/beef quesadillas and they were fantastic. i tried a bite, and it was delicious. very large portion for this....not so much for the tacos. the waitress we had was so sweet! very attentive and polite. i cannot say enough how polite and kind the people down here are. its such a refreshing change from up north. i really think this little place pours out some good food...i will go back and try something different for sure!!

like the original. i ate here one time when i was over in navarre; stopped in for lunch. its mostly like the 12th ave cactus flower, but i noticed that my fishtacostasted a little different in a good way. i asked the server about it and was told that they use a little different recipe than the one in pensacola. in my one visit to this location i would say it was good
