cactus flower cafe navarre

a coworker recommend cactus flower cafe to me. they were pretty busy but we only waited 10 minutes for our table. our server suggested the burrito to me. it was the size of the plate and delicious. my girlfriend had the crab quesadilla and loved it. theserviceand food was outstanding.

cactus flower cafe is by far the best mexican cuisine in navarre. we have eaten there since they opened two years ago. theserviceas well as the food is outstanding! if you haven't tried the mahi tacos do so!

black bean enchilada's. my boyfriend and i went there for the first time on new years eve. they are very vegan friendly. i had black bean enchiladas that were out of this world!!!! the guacomole was the best that we have had. we will be going there on a regular basis now!!

caught it crowded...... kind of small place anyway. i've heard it was good. well, i found the place small, clean for the most part, and food bland. chips and salsa must be publix bought. wine margarita....get real....yuck!servicewas good, fast, and food not so much. i find better alternatives in the area for mexican. humble opinion was how can you mess up beans and rice? well, i found out. enchiladas and quesadillas were just overpriced for a bland but fairly large portion. overall, i would suppose the walking distance for tourists from nearby hotel, will keep it going...... we'll pass it by!

fish tacos!! ...and their specials are awesome too. greatserviceand an awesome menu.

i liked the nice atmosphere. the complementary chips were good and i liked the queso dip despite the high cost. as for the meals, the shredded tacos were good(had a lot of lettuce though), the pinto beans were excellent and the rice was okay. the prices range from good to a bit much, but they are generally reasonable. greatserviceand i recommend it.

this is one of three of these restaraunts around the area. we have eaten at the one in pensacola several times, but it was our first visit to this location. theservicewas good, the decor was pretty much the same as the one in pensacola, and the menus were the same. both my wife and i ordered the fish tacos, which are our favorites at the other location. while we both felt the food was good, we both felt that the food at the pensacola store was better than the food that we got here. don't get me wrong, the food is good, it just didn't quite meet the expectations that we have come to expect at the other location. for navarre, it is a pretty good choice.

believe the hype. ignore all the negative reviews. if you are like me, you scroll through these reviews to read, specifically, the bad ones. the negative reviews a quite mind-boggling. the food here is exceptional. the ingredients are fresh. nothing comes out of a can. they do not use lard.

if you love chimi's, let me put it to you like this. i don't ever eat in at restaurants. i just prefer eating at home. so, as usual, i order the chimi to go. i have about 10 miles to drive between cactus flower and my house. if you ever frequent 98 you know the traffic is always bad. it takes me 20 minutes to get home, another 5 to sit and eat. the chimi is still crispy. the interior still melty. outstanding.

if you are visiting, eat here. if you are a local, eat here. don't think about it, just do it. theserviceis friendly. the food comes out quick. an ideal experience.

awsome food andservice!!. my family is from pace fl and we go to navarre quite often for a day at the beach and dinner. i was raised in california and grew up on mexican food. i was blown away by how big, no - how huge, my burrito was. it took up the whole plate and was the best tasting burrito i have ever had. i'm usually not into the "cafe" style places but will go back to cactus flower for sure. my daughter ordered nacho's and they were the bomb. we were seated as soon as we walked in the door, brought chips and excellent salsa as soon as we sat down, and drink orders taken very fast. friendlyserviceand awsome food - we will be back for sure, we found our new favorite place to eat in navarre !!!

delicious. cactus flower cafe is delicious! i am an incredibly picky eater and i loved their food. very fresh and tasty. i got the enchiladas (shredded beef was my favorite) and my husband got their special (blue crab quesadillas) both meals where great, their quesadilla soup was amazing as well. theservicewas good, the waitress was helpful. it's been a while since i've had good mexican food, this was exactly what i was looking for, i will definitely be back again!

i called in an order for pick up. they said it would be an hr. i get there to pick it up about 10min after they told me and i still had to wait an other 25min. i have never had to wait that long for a to go order form any restaurant. they are proud of there food for the price you pay. they know they are the only mexican food spot in navarre and you pay for it. on the plus side the food is good. so if you like to give your money away and have okservicethis is the place for you to go.

this place is fabulous. we would highly recommend it. the food is fresh and theservicewas very good. definitely have the california sangria and fish tacos. 10/10 all the way.

the best restaurant in navarre by far!. it is quite the understatement to say cactus flower is my favorite restaurant! i have never been disappointed! anyone who says otherwise is obviously too picky and uninformed of how to order properly.
the relaxing atmosphere always calms my hunger pangs and soothes my stomach after becoming too full! theserviceis nearly almost perfect, complete with smiles, laughs, and excellent dress code. i feel like my server truly enjoys serving me and strives to make my dinner as wonderful as possible. (and it always works!) they definitely deserve the taste of navarre awards they have received!

as someone who has worked in a restaurant before, i understand the highs and lows of a busy evening. the greatest thing about cactus flower is that even under pressure, when all of the tables are full, i was never disappointed with my service. even if a slight stumble was made, it was certainly made up for by the end of my meal.

another great plus is the prices! my boyfriend and i have never spent more than $30-$35 for a meal well worth the money! we always come back excited to try something to new!

my favorite is the quesadilla! the only complaint is that i always get too full to finish my food, so i unfortunately have to skip out on dessert. however, the large portions are perfectly fine because the food makes great leftovers!

p.s. congrats on the upcoming pensacola beach location! it's going to do fantastically out there!

reminds me of socal. i spent some of the best years of my life on the west coast and have eaten at a ton of calmex restaurants. this place is on par with some of the best. the food is light and not over-spiced. i left full and satisfied. theservicewas great but not over the top. i will be back.

best fish taco ever! and they have whole wheat tortillas, even better! i went with a large group over spring break and theservicewas also very good.
