a coworker recommend cactus flower cafe to me. they were pretty busy but we only waited 10 minutes for our table. our server suggested the burrito to me. it was the size of the plate and delicious. my girlfriend had the crab quesadilla and loved it. the service andfoodwas outstanding.

cactus flower cafe is by far the best mexican cuisine in navarre. we have eaten there since they opened two years ago. the service as well as thefoodis outstanding! if you haven't tried the mahi tacos do so!

black bean enchilada's. my boyfriend and i went there for the first time on new years eve. they are very vegan friendly. i had black bean enchiladas that were out of this world!!!! the guacomole was the best that we have had. we will be going there on a regular basis now!!

caught it crowded...... kind of small place anyway. i've heard it was good. well, i found the place small, clean for the most part, andfoodbland. chips and salsa must be publix bought. wine margarita....get real....yuck! service was good, fast, andfoodnot so much. i find better alternatives in the area for mexican. humble opinion was how can you mess up beans and rice? well, i found out. enchiladas and quesadillas were just overpriced for a bland but fairly large portion. overall, i would suppose the walking distance for tourists from nearby hotel, will keep it going...... we'll pass it by!

good mexican. we ordered chicken nachos and a pork wrap for pick up. thefoodwas hot and good. i was thrilled to see the nachos came with chips, chicken, pico and queso all packaged separately, so nothing was soggy.

i'm from texas and would not put this into the same category as mexican or tex-mex. has a very limited menu. portions are big but the price forfoodis high for what you get. chips are store bought and salsa is tasteless. wouldn't recommend if you know what even decent tex-mex taste like. was very disappointmented

youngsters. if you like watching a bunch of young girls standing around and gossipping.... this is the place for you. other than the new trainee that talked with my husband and me the rest of the staff was unfriendly and unattentive. thefoodportions were very large and delicious, though. just wish there were more mature employees.....

we absolutely love this "unlike any other" mexican restaurant! the el jeffe burrito is a must! sometimes it is hard to get a table right away butfoodis worth the wait. friendly wait staff as well as the owner who has never failed to stop by and make sure everything is to our liking.

i think this is one of the better restaurants in navarre. thefoodtasted good and was very flavorful. the server was very attentive as was others that walked by just checking on us. i was a bit surprised by the extra charge for sour cream, it's not guacamole that's is made there which i understand the charge for. we had the enchiladas and fish tacos. both were very good. another thing i was puzzled with was some meals you could sub a salad for the beans but when i did that with the fish tacos meal i was charged for that substitution. (not everyone likes rice and beans) give this place a try but maybe question the server if they ask if you want sour cream and guacamole.

this is one of three of these restaraunts around the area. we have eaten at the one in pensacola several times, but it was our first visit to this location. the service was good, the decor was pretty much the same as the one in pensacola, and the menus were the same. both my wife and i ordered the fish tacos, which are our favorites at the other location. while we both felt thefoodwas good, we both felt that thefoodat the pensacola store was better than thefoodthat we got here. don't get me wrong, thefoodis good, it just didn't quite meet the expectations that we have come to expect at the other location. for navarre, it is a pretty good choice.

awesome. without a doubt one of the best places in the area. if you like cali-mex this is the place to go. we have tried everything on the menu and love it all. the sangria is really good as well. if you are looking for your cookie cutter mexican joint that uses the same delivered bags and cans offoodwith the stock 200 items on the menu, this is not the place to go. if you are looking for a place that makes hand craftedfoodto order, prides itself in quality, and has a full range of flavors, you must visit the cactus flower.

bottom line, eat here. if vacationing here, plan 3 meals here and then eat here 5 times before you leave.

believe the hype. ignore all the negative reviews. if you are like me, you scroll through these reviews to read, specifically, the bad ones. the negative reviews a quite mind-boggling. thefoodhere is exceptional. the ingredients are fresh. nothing comes out of a can. they do not use lard.

if you love chimi's, let me put it to you like this. i don't ever eat in at restaurants. i just prefer eating at home. so, as usual, i order the chimi to go. i have about 10 miles to drive between cactus flower and my house. if you ever frequent 98 you know the traffic is always bad. it takes me 20 minutes to get home, another 5 to sit and eat. the chimi is still crispy. the interior still melty. outstanding.

if you are visiting, eat here. if you are a local, eat here. don't think about it, just do it. the service is friendly. thefoodcomes out quick. an ideal experience.

awsomefoodand service !!. my family is from pace fl and we go to navarre quite often for a day at the beach and dinner. i was raised in california and grew up on mexican food. i was blown away by how big, no - how huge, my burrito was. it took up the whole plate and was the best tasting burrito i have ever had. i'm usually not into the "cafe" style places but will go back to cactus flower for sure. my daughter ordered nacho's and they were the bomb. we were seated as soon as we walked in the door, brought chips and excellent salsa as soon as we sat down, and drink orders taken very fast. friendly service and awsomefood- we will be back for sure, we found our new favorite place to eat in navarre !!!

terrible food, slow service. the chips are made by frito lay (we saw them being delivered by sysco), the salsa leaves much to be desired, the queso is bland and flavorless. my kids wouldn't even eat half their meals and my husband, who ordered the chimichanga, noted that we should have just gone to taco bell and eaten better for less than half the price.
if you like flavorlessfoodfrom a can, then you would like this 'mexican restaurant'. if you're looking for a good mexican restaurant, this is not the place for you.

this is by far one of my favorite returants!! i love the mexican salad with chicken and the lime dressing. i love the fresh salsa so much that i sometimes buy it by the pint to take home eat over the weekend. the owners and staff are so nice. i get carry out from there when i get home too late to cook sometimes and myfoodis always as ordered. they have even sliced a fresh avacado for me when i requested it for my salad. yummy!
