i liked the nice atmosphere. the complementary chips weregoodand i liked the queso dip despite the high cost. as for the meals, the shredded tacos were good(had a lot of lettuce though), the pinto beans were excellent and the rice was okay. the prices range fromgoodto a bit much, but they are generally reasonable. great service and i recommend it.

mahi mahi tacos. our waitress suggested that as one of her favs. they were quitegoodand filling. they had a lime sauce that gave them a twang. the sweet tea was the best that i have had down here.... strong and sweet. would eat here again.

best southwestern food outside of new mexico/california. i knowgoodtex-mex, and the rest of those so-called "mexican" restaurants in this area are crap.

i think this is one of the better restaurants in navarre. the food tastedgoodand was very flavorful. the server was very attentive as was others that walked by just checking on us. i was a bit surprised by the extra charge for sour cream, it's not guacamole that's is made there which i understand the charge for. we had the enchiladas and fish tacos. both were very good. another thing i was puzzled with was some meals you could sub a salad for the beans but when i did that with the fish tacos meal i was charged for that substitution. (not everyone likes rice and beans) give this place a try but maybe question the server if they ask if you want sour cream and guacamole.

this is one of three of these restaraunts around the area. we have eaten at the one in pensacola several times, but it was our first visit to this location. the service was good, the decor was pretty much the same as the one in pensacola, and the menus were the same. both my wife and i ordered the fish tacos, which are our favorites at the other location. while we both felt the food was good, we both felt that the food at the pensacola store was better than the food that we got here. don't get me wrong, the food is good, it just didn't quite meet the expectations that we have come to expect at the other location. for navarre, it is a prettygoodchoice.

awesome. without a doubt one of the best places in the area. if you like cali-mex this is the place to go. we have tried everything on the menu and love it all. the sangria is reallygoodas well. if you are looking for your cookie cutter mexican joint that uses the same delivered bags and cans of food with the stock 200 items on the menu, this is not the place to go. if you are looking for a place that makes hand crafted food to order, prides itself in quality, and has a full range of flavors, you must visit the cactus flower.

bottom line, eat here. if vacationing here, plan 3 meals here and then eat here 5 times before you leave.

burrito. vegan burrito ! verygoodand very big!!!

seems i'm an anomaly. maybe the cooks had a bad day. maybe they were distracted. but i've heardgoodthings and my wife vouched.i'll just throw this one out first because it's minimal to me. there was toothpick wrapper paper cooked into my chimi. melted rather. whatever. give me a free coke and i'm good. second. the lime rice tasted like pinesol cleaner. like it was marinated in lysol. very strong, unedible. third. wife got mahi mahi tuna. fish should not be hard to the touch and able to pick up in its entirety by a fork. she asked if the tortillas were homeade and they were not. period. fourth, the chimi meat supposed to be shredded beef, like steak. instead it was pot roast. wrapped with a cup of cheddar and fried with the toothpick paper. the poor waitress knew we hated it. we paid for it and left quietly, i've seen too much hell's kitchen to talk to a chef today without being an ass, so that's why i'm posting here. i won't come back and it's unfortunate because i wanted to like it

terrible food, slow service. the chips are made by frito lay (we saw them being delivered by sysco), the salsa leaves much to be desired, the queso is bland and flavorless. my kids wouldn't even eat half their meals and my husband, who ordered the chimichanga, noted that we should have just gone to taco bell and eaten better for less than half the price.
if you like flavorless food from a can, then you would like this 'mexican restaurant'. if you're looking for agoodmexican restaurant, this is not the place for you.

delicious. cactus flower cafe is delicious! i am an incredibly picky eater and i loved their food. very fresh and tasty. i got the enchiladas (shredded beef was my favorite) and my husband got their special (blue crab quesadillas) both meals where great, their quesadilla soup was amazing as well. the service was good, the waitress was helpful. it's been a while since i've hadgoodmexican food, this was exactly what i was looking for, i will definitely be back again!

bad mexican. not sure what all the rave is about for this eatery. the chip are from a bag that i can buy at publix, salsa is so so. the quesadillas are small for the price although very tasty. chicken chimichanga isgoodsize, but all cheese while you have to search around to find the meat. lime salad dressing is way too sour! wait staff is verygoodand attentive. cactus flower is far from california mexican and certainly not close to gourmet or higher end cuisine. we do know how to order and are not very picky about our food, however we do give honest reviews.

one of the better places in navarre. highly recommend the mahi mahi tacos. they were sooogoodand the beans and rice that came with them wasgoodalso.

we saw this place on urban-spoon and it had wonderful reviews. i'm so happy we tried it, my son got the chicken tenders which were the best i have ever tried! i had some chips with queso and the mahi mahi tacos.... i was amazed! everything was sogoodand fresh. we will be back again for sure!!!

good mexican food and the salsa is homemade and amazing!! sometimes it feels a little snobby in there especially one particular waitress. my food has always beengoodthough!

very good. just moved here from texas & was looking for agoodmexican restaurant. salsa & queso are good, big dinner portions also.
