great bbq joint with great service. start with the q-rolls as an appetizer, they are reminiscent of mini-chimis with brisket. i highly recommend the smoasted chicken. the mac n'cheeseis sinfully cheesy. the potato salad is equally delicious and surprisingly refreshing. the cornbread is warm and sweet. then finish your meal with mini complimentary sugar donuts.

additionally, last year i bought a whole turkey for thanksgiving day. talk about amazing! this is the first time my family devours the a whole turkey. delicious!!!!!

the best mac andcheesein the valley....really!

great smoked meats. nice flavored sauces. friendly service. but it you are a mac andcheesefan this is the place. will not be disappointed.

tried bobby-q for dinner one evening while out in phoenix. tried a platter with brisket, baby-back ribs, beef ribs, chicken, potato salad, beans and mac & cheese.

absolutely everything was covered with a very thick blanket of sauce. do you know what that means? it means you are only supposed to taste the sauce because the meat probably doesn't have enough flavour to stand on its own.

everything we ordered was overcooked. i don't blame the restaurant for this as they probably make it that way to please the public which generally doesn't know any better. ribs aren't supposed to "fall off the bone" if cooked properly, but they certainly do here. they cooked the absolute living hell out of everything we received.

what they fall short on in meat quality they try to make up for in quantity. there is absolutely no chance you will leave this place hungry. there is no chance you will leave this place without a doggy bag or without eating more food in a single sitting than the human body was ever designed to.

where they go wrong with the meat, however; they get right with the sides. the sides were fantastic. the beans, potato salad and mac &cheesewere no joke. they were very, very tasty. giving full respect where it's due.

if smoking your own meat isn't your thing you will probably really love this place. if you enjoy making your own than steer clear in order to avoid disappointment.

i've got to say that bobby q has got some great, great food. obviously the fall of the bone baby backs are a must, but so is the beef rib and especially the brisket. of course the sausage was great too!

the mac andcheeseside was the best i've ever had. it's no wonder it's their most popular item. it is the cheesiest and creamiest i've had and is absolutely addictive.

speaking of addictive, the freshly made "tiny tom" (as i know them from back home) donuts covered in cinnamon are worse than drugs! :)

mostly very good!!!!!. all the meat we tried was fall apart tender and laced with sweetness but not too much. most people out there will love the brisket as my husband did. the brisket was falling apart tender and very succulent. for me it was too succulent with too much fat but that is exactly how my husband likes it. i thought the coleslaw was good i liked how fresh and crispy it was and not dippy. however i didn't like the macaroni andcheesebecause the noodles were too soft and thecheesetasted like velveta to me but i know many people like it that way. they smoke the meats with mesquite wood. everything is made in house and they give you complimentary johnny cakes with soft butter to start with and fresh made thank "q" cinnamon sugar donuts for dessert. the decor is very old fashioned but interesting. this is a large place and does have an outside patio. service was fast and efficient.

thought this place was great! not a huge bbq fan but was totally impressed by the food. for an appy, the brisket deep fried in a roll had so much flavor. had the southern fried chicken with gravy, delicious. and not your run of the mill chicken fried steak either. the coleslaw with pecans was very good as a side. mac andcheeseside good as well. service was outstanding! we will be back!

the place is real nice. service was great. although i prefer a bit more smoke flavor in my barbecue this place does a good job. we ordered choice of two ribs and two meats. baby back and beef ribs both very tender with a hint of smoke. we all prefered the brisket so we got both portions brisket. the ranch beans were alright. i'd eat them again but wouldn't stop just for them. the mac ncheesewas excellent you better likecheeseif you order thar. overall a excellent meal. the plate cost $38.00 but it fed 3 and we had plenty of leftovers. the corn bread was course and fell apart i've had better much better.
