came here for a friends graduation dinner. food was cold! and terible tasting, i thought since everything was crazy expensive it would at least be good but not so and the ortion sizes are super small! our service was probably the worste restaraunt service experience on record! will not ever return here!

finger lickin good. this is one of my favorite places in the phoenix area. not only is the dining area comfortable to be in, the bar is extensive and the bartenders/ waitresses provide awesome service. the burgers are excellent and are always cooked perfectly. the only thing that i don't like on the menu is the brisket, just has too much of an oily taste to me. otherwise: a+

overpriced, underdelivers. it's always a bad omen when you pull up to a bbq joint and can't smell any bbq.
such is the case with bobby-q.
i will start with the good points. i want to roll around naked in a pile of their cornbread and would ask to be buried with the mac & cheese. the preparation of the st louis style ribs is nice.
however...the sauce on all of the meat sucks. the regular and the spicy are thin and just glorified ketchup. there is little smoke flavor in any of the meat. the brisket left my entirely carnivorous husband slightly grossed out. he left over half of his sandwich, which should be noted in some kind of journal somewhere, as it is totally unheard of. the pulled pork was mushy and lacked any kind of smoke.
the shoestring fries were cold and greasy and the onion brick, while nicely seasoned, left a pool of grease on the plate. expensive. overhyped. we will not be back

the things dreams are made of. yes the smoked prime rib is still haunting my memory and most likely will for some time to come. the best i have ever had, and combined with the luscious hot bbq, ummmmm!

outstanding. let's put it this way, if you love barbecue, and i mean love barbecue, not just "ehh its okay" no, if you love it, then you need to be here. the food was outstanding, customer service when we walked through the door was top notch. took a little bit longer then what they said it would take at the door, but the wait was worth it. the only thing on the menu i really didn't care for was the brisket, but that just might be personal preference. go check this place out. you will not be disappointed... oh and i live only 4 blocks aways and i can smell it everyday after i step out of my apartment

the place is real nice. service was great. although i prefer a bit more smoke flavor in my barbecue this place does a good job. we ordered choice of two ribs and two meats. baby back and beef ribs both very tender with a hint of smoke. we all prefered the brisket so we got both portions brisket. the ranch beans were alright. i'd eat them again but wouldn't stop just for them. the mac n cheese was excellent you better like cheese if you order thar. overall a excellent meal. the plate cost $38.00 but it fed 3 and we had plenty of leftovers. the corn bread was course and fell apart i've had better much better.

first timer. pretty damn good bbq joint, and kickass atmosphere to boot. the service was efficient without making us feel rushed. at our table we had the sweet onion block, the q rolls, the cornbread, pulled pork, ribs, and probably some other stuff i forgot. everything was awesome. "spicy" barbecue sauce was not spicy if you've been to famous dave's, but we'll let it slide since everything else was so great.

great bbq! from a kansas city native. ask for the mega-slaw. a waitress, megan, invented it. cole slaw and potatoe salad mixed. very good!

lip smackin' good. we got take out from the 'back door' to-go side so i have no clue what the restaurant looks like but the food speaks for itself. we picked up a half pound of beef brisket and a half pound of pulled pork, ranch beans and the pecan cole slaw, with cornbread. yummy to the nth degree. the sauce is sweet and mildly spicy. the pecan slaw had great flavor, creamy but not overly so. the ranch beans sweet and swimmin in sauce with bits of meat. yum!

super place. avoid the sausage, it's taste and smell are bad. the chicken, ribs(esp the baby back) and the pulled pork were amazing. all the side are great also.
