amadora gourmet ice cream & sorbet

terrible attitude of the serving staff! the ice cream did not have name tags and the staff was furious when someone enquired about the flavours. bad experience and place best avoided.

overrated! ice creams were ordinary (nothing stood out) and the chocolate cake was mediocre. don’t know what the hype is all about!

overhyped and overpriced and staff also very rude,there r other options to choose from in the city which fare much better for price and even quality and taste .

if only desserts had an address in chennai, then amadora would be the calling card for it. one of the best dessert places i've been to in chennai.
with their great flavours, straight-forward setting and lightning flash service, these people deserve to be called the best of chennai.

xocolat ice-cream sandwich - whattawow chocolate cake with hot fudge & callebaut chocolate ice-cream; the spongy outer texture with the dark taste from the xocolat was heavenly, so satisfying
nutella ice-cream sandwich - pretty much the same setup but the soft outer brownie layer with the super fudgy ice-cream (which doesn't hurt sensitive teeth) is soooo good with the sweet nutella texture
dark chocolate sorbet - totally a fan of dark chocolate now since the smooth sorbet with the kick from the dark choco was wooow
mami's filter coffee - unbelievable combination of tn filter coffee flavour with ice-cream; sour kicky on one end while smooth and satisfying on the whole
mint chocolate chip - weird combo since i personally considered mint in chocolates as sin but this sinful combination was the perfect freshener for the mouth along with the chocolate, good
chocolate caramel chocobar - this no-melt ice-cream stays strong to the stick for so long; crunchy, melt in mouth outer layer with silky caramel, holy smokes
vanilla raspberry cheesecake - finally was the show stealer, this mild-sweet cheesecake stays true to its color with hard base, soft frosting and rich amazing consistency, sweet

parking might be a concern since it is located at the dead-end of a narrow street. nevertheless, their outdoor seating with a quiet atmosphere makes the meal a memorable one.

too much sugar. sugar were crystallized and couldn’t have much at all. waste of money

please send ice cream atleast with dry ice or ice packs . the entire ice cream has melted off by the time it reached - poor packaging from amadora

this place has a website on which they have listed some of their products that contain egg with a green dot. i ordered the nutella ice cream sandwich since it was with a green dot and when it was delivered, the box with the name of the product had a red dot. being a pure vegetarian, i was aghast. it was priced at ₹300. a total waste of money. when i called and enquired, they said they will call back in half an hr but still havent received the call but they have managed to change the item to a red dot on their website.

the ice cream was melted. would have been better if delivered in a ice box or any other option to keep it cold.

one of the best vegan chocolate once creams in town. the low sugar level is just right and the chocolate flavor is intense.

trust me, everything was excellent. vanilla was just outstanding. no mistake made with mami's filter coffee; what you relished in a dabara set is served stone cold, with the taste being a notch higher. for god's sake, please do give caramelized white chocolate a try. it cannot get any better. dark chocolate sorbet lite was good as well. under baked food items. "a cup" is something that i really enjoyed, and as the name says, "chocolate crisp" was crunchy as well, but the overall taste of chocolate crisp was okay is what i would say.

any downsides? would possibly burn a hole in one's pocket :d. had the price was a bit lower, and the portion a bit more, i would have rated it a perfect 5.

their ice creams are just fantastic. they don't really have a place to sit and eat. located in a hard to find corner gully in nungambakkam, people come here from all over and that's not without reason. their underbaked cake is just out of the world. i have had the underbaked with icecream several times.yet to find such awesome desserts elsewhere

products ate too pricey. can cut on costs. portions are little less but cost is high. please lessen the price on products.
