amadora gourmet ice cream & sorbet

the ambiance was great. we ordered the underbakedcakeand a scoop of trifle icecream. thecakewas amazing and it tasted a lot like a thick cookie. no complaints there. and the icecream was really nice. on the expensive side, and we can't come everyday, but worth a visit

supposedly the oldest branch and the last of which i tried out. tucked away in a quiet street, wallace garden, this place is cosy and perfect to chill for a long time even. rarely ever empty.

tried the cocoacakeand the underbaked with one of their exotic flavours which differ with branches and days. they were great and the cocoacakeas expected of amadora was super rich and even tad bit too much. the underbaked my constant order is never a let down and is ditto in taste everywhere. which i can amadora keeps it up and delivers everytime.

i have tasted almost all the flavors of ice creams and their unbakedcakeand chocolate cakes are my favorite. no restaurant could compare up to their ice cream quality. very yummy. expensive to some extent to other fast growing ice cream outlets.

caramelized white chocolate icecream and twixcakeis to die for.. chocolate ganachecakeis equally yummy 😍 have been to this place number of times.. the quality and taste remains the same. the best gourmet icecream in chennai.

one of the best places in town for cakes and ice creams. they serve fresh ice creams and cakes. the underbakedcakewith vanilla ice cream is a must try. it’s a little bit expensive.

love their ice creams and dessert. it's a cozy lil place with fun flavors. their chocolate trufflecakeis excellent. sandwich with apple and cheeese is yummy!

it was hard to fault anything. we ordered 4 desserts through swiggy. i would recon you try the chocolate sorbet, twixcakeand the filter kapi sorbet.

overrated! ice creams were ordinary (nothing stood out) and the chocolatecakewas mediocre. don’t know what the hype is all about!

if only desserts had an address in chennai, then amadora would be the calling card for it. one of the best dessert places i've been to in chennai.
with their great flavours, straight-forward setting and lightning flash service, these people deserve to be called the best of chennai.

xocolat ice-cream sandwich - whattawow chocolatecakewith hot fudge & callebaut chocolate ice-cream; the spongy outer texture with the dark taste from the xocolat was heavenly, so satisfying
nutella ice-cream sandwich - pretty much the same setup but the soft outer brownie layer with the super fudgy ice-cream (which doesn't hurt sensitive teeth) is soooo good with the sweet nutella texture
dark chocolate sorbet - totally a fan of dark chocolate now since the smooth sorbet with the kick from the dark choco was wooow
mami's filter coffee - unbelievable combination of tn filter coffee flavour with ice-cream; sour kicky on one end while smooth and satisfying on the whole
mint chocolate chip - weird combo since i personally considered mint in chocolates as sin but this sinful combination was the perfect freshener for the mouth along with the chocolate, good
chocolate caramel chocobar - this no-melt ice-cream stays strong to the stick for so long; crunchy, melt in mouth outer layer with silky caramel, holy smokes
vanilla raspberry cheesecake - finally was the show stealer, this mild-sweet cheesecake stays true to its color with hard base, soft frosting and rich amazing consistency, sweet

parking might be a concern since it is located at the dead-end of a narrow street. nevertheless, their outdoor seating with a quiet atmosphere makes the meal a memorable one.

their ice creams are just fantastic. they don't really have a place to sit and eat. located in a hard to find corner gully in nungambakkam, people come here from all over and that's not without reason. their underbakedcakeis just out of the world. i have had the underbaked with icecream several times.yet to find such awesome desserts elsewhere

loved their gourmet ice creams, recently tried their zoukcakeand i wasn't impressed. a 5 star for everything else. expensive menu but the taste doesn't disappoint you.

the ice cream didn't disappoint too. very good (although, it was too cold for my preference but i would not complain as it was supposed to be like that for an ice cream sandwich).
