there are never enough words to describe the magical experience one feels when he/she enters into this parlor. i’m using the word magic because of the unique sensations i personally feel when i enter this place. it's an absolute delight. it has the power to strip all the burdens i have accumulated the entire weak. i’ve been visiting this parlor at least once a week every single time i’ve come to chennai.
i’m going to save the best for the last, so i’ll tell about the service and the ambience. the staff are really courteous and kind and don’t get irritated when you ask for a lot of samples (which i normally do). the ambience is quite simple, neat, comfortable, and cozy.
the ice-creams, the hero, are mind-bogglingly good. the flavors are the magical fairy dust which lightens this place. i used to enjoy the time wherein they used to change their flavors almost every other week, i.e. keeping the staples aside. but of late the flavors have remained stagnant which is my only let down. another brownie point is that they don’t charge for cone!!! i’ve never ordered the savory dishes like the sandwiches, which i believe no one orders. apart from the ice-creams, the other desserts and combos are equally amazing. a special mention has to be given to the underbaked and the city’s best tres leches cake.
now comes the part where everyone raises their bro and drop their jaws when they come for the first time, the price. it is expensive for ice cream, but one should consider the quality and moreover the quantity they serve. hands down, they serve the best ice-creams in the city.
