amadora gourmet ice cream & sorbet

we make it a point to visit this place whenever in chennai. the designer dessert and ice creams are a treat. under baked plus dark chocolate sorbet is a deadly combo. loved the salted buttercaramelice cream.

if only desserts had an address in chennai, then amadora would be the calling card for it. one of the best dessert places i've been to in chennai.
with their great flavours, straight-forward setting and lightning flash service, these people deserve to be called the best of chennai.

xocolat ice-cream sandwich - whattawow chocolate cake with hot fudge & callebaut chocolate ice-cream; the spongy outer texture with the dark taste from the xocolat was heavenly, so satisfying
nutella ice-cream sandwich - pretty much the same setup but the soft outer brownie layer with the super fudgy ice-cream (which doesn't hurt sensitive teeth) is soooo good with the sweet nutella texture
dark chocolate sorbet - totally a fan of dark chocolate now since the smooth sorbet with the kick from the dark choco was wooow
mami's filter coffee - unbelievable combination of tn filter coffee flavour with ice-cream; sour kicky on one end while smooth and satisfying on the whole
mint chocolate chip - weird combo since i personally considered mint in chocolates as sin but this sinful combination was the perfect freshener for the mouth along with the chocolate, good
chocolatecaramelchocobar - this no-melt ice-cream stays strong to the stick for so long; crunchy, melt in mouth outer layer with silky caramel, holy smokes
vanilla raspberry cheesecake - finally was the show stealer, this mild-sweet cheesecake stays true to its color with hard base, soft frosting and rich amazing consistency, sweet

parking might be a concern since it is located at the dead-end of a narrow street. nevertheless, their outdoor seating with a quiet atmosphere makes the meal a memorable one.

i love amadora s icecream. you people must try the saltedcaramelicecream. i just love it so much. every time i visit there i would only try that again n again. coz it's soo good. also with the brownie... just go for it.. yes but the prices are very high. for our satisfaction you could go once a month.

visited amadora gourmet ice cream with high expectations but the visit here was a major letdown. on the staff's recommendation we tried their saltedcaramelflavor and white chocolate and raspberry flavor.
both flavors were disappointing to say the least. the saltedcaramelwas too salty for my liking. they could probably reduce the quantity of salt in the ice cream. white chocolate and raspberry was extremely sweet and somehow i didn't like the flavor.
priced at 220 rupees per scoop the quantity served doesn't do justice to the price charged.

i'm not sure what the hype is all about this place. they serve good ice cream no doubt, but charging hella lot for something which is just as good as any other place isn't justified. anyhow , we tried 2 ice cream cakes.
the vanilla raspberry variant and the xocolat-caramelboth of which were good. nothing exceptional. the ambiance is great though .
overall do give this place a visit.

you cannot not give a 5 star to this place . heaven. my fav flavours - underbaked with salted butter caramel. hail mary - customise it with saltedcarameland milo , dark choc sorbet . other flavours to go to - five bean vanilla. brownie is amazing too .

my fav sunday dessert destination is come to an end. always order my fav underbaked with saltedcaramelice cream and guess this time someone wanted to join in. almost after eating the entire dessert, i found a small cockroach hidden among the underbaked and thankfully noticed it. this is one place i really enjoy my sunday dessert binge and now that's ruined too.

their watermelon sorbet is an all time favourite!

ever since i first tasted it, the saltedcaramelhere is the best i've ever had.

my husband is a coffee lover and he swears by their coffee ice cream.

love the homely feel of the place and the fact that they keep coming up with new flavours.

must try the underbaked with saltedcaramelice cream...caramelised white chocolate ice cream is also delicious!! this place has the right ambience and serves the best desserts!

it's a pretty expensive place but it's okay once in a while maybe lol ! but they really do out class all the other ice cream shop in the city ! i tried their baked apple omg it was so delicious and really nice and a lemon sorbet that was also good andcaramelwhich was good aswell .

omg this place is fantastic !! although it is a tad expensive, the taste of each item on their menu is mind-blowing !

i would kill to have their under-baked, saltedcaramelice cream and double chocolate - which are my favourites!

must must try for people who love desserts

had half baked and hail mary ... both were amazing and very very yummy !
both half baked and hail mary are quiet similar sundaes ... hail mary has an extra scoop of xocolate ice cream and swirl ofcarameland chocolate sauce, and has a bit less of half baked brownie .
the half baked is very delightful with the 5 bean vanilla ice cream and it also tastes good with pecan ice cream

its a little difficult to locate the place . better put the navigation as walking wen u reach/u are around that area. the quality of the icecreams were amazing. i exactly dont remember the name of the person who was offering us to try all the flavours ,man such patience and smile he has got to engage the customers. we have tried blueberry current and peanutcaramelcombination. they were amazing. the texture was so real. i was fan of naturals icecream . but now this tops my list .

the best dessert destination in chennai .cake is a word underbaked is an emotion and more emotional with five bean vanilla scoop. we had chocolate crisps with smores ice cream and a cup chocolate ganache with almond bits toffee and saltedcaramelsauce. warm underbaked cake with five bean vanilla ice cream 😍😍😍🤤🤤🤤 everything here is a bit pricey but everything feels worth after eating it.

i go to amadora whenever my sugar cravings are hitting the roof. the underbaked cake is supposed to be one of their specialities. i didn't find it too great though. my favourite ice cream flavor there is the saltedcarameland i load it with all the toppings possible before eating.
the place is a little difficult to find if you are new to the area.
