the restaurant ok, expected more of turkish food and desert, one of the assistant manager was a little rude to us as he did not accept the discount even tho there was a gourmet club discount, actually the food and beverage director also declined to accept the terms and conditions mentioned in the voucher.

this place is lovely it serves excellent turkish food and it a small play ground for kids in it.

we celebrated my sister's birthday! had a complimentary birthday cake which made our evening a little bit more special.. there were quite few good food selections but the live pasta cooking station was awesome i loved it! theres only one thing i would like to suggest, they should have include the drinks in the buffet dinner package.. nevertheless everything was good!

dined here for dinner expecting good turkish good, however most items on the buffet spread were below average. the freshly prepared items like lahmacun was served cold and hard, the iskender was unimpressive also served too late, almost at the end of meal before dessert. the grilled meats were too dry and not great. desserts were boring hardly with any exciting selections. service was horrible as the waiters were hardly responsive and very slow. overall it was a disappointing experience in terms of food and service.

the only good thing was the lahme be ajine and their iskandar it was amazing
even their bread buffet is extremely cold

the buffet spread was excellent with a lot of variety. i visited with a friend and we couldn't try everything. the salads were very good, the mains were excellent and the best parts were the desserts with a mix of turkish sweets, cakes and international desserts. two thumbs up!!!

i'm there right now and i'm simply enjoying the worst experience ever!!!

a la turca serves arabic/turkish buffet and it has a great variety (well atleast to the sore eyes after a long day it can be a sight just to see a huge spread 😉).
the food is good, nothing extraordinary though. what i liked was that they took great care in serving to the guests liking, for eg we were offered pizza and pasta apart from the buffet items as one of us requested for it. i had a good time except for the unbearable heat and humidity and the subsequent sweating it caused because where i was seated, for some strange reasons the ac wasn't working. it was pretty full so we couldn't change tables as well. the views outside are beautiful and can be enjoyed if dining during the day. at night its like any of the regular dinner buffets in town.

otherwise its just a restaurant to go sometimes as its too far and nothing much to do.

the breakfast, lunch and dinner served at #alaturca is nothing short of amazing, almost every single thing we ate blew us away.. i found the offering at to be truly stellar.. this is the place that proved to me that the turkish-kebab is undeniably #soulfood.. the meeting of the orient and the occident is evident in the way the breads, pastries and cheese mingle with kebabs, stews and pilavs.. another thing that stands out is the brilliance of the traditionally cultivated ingredients.. you may end up eating 18 skewers of meat and too unbelievably tasty..

it's so rare to find a good open buffet restaurants in dubai. this restaurant impressed me with the food selections, quality and atmosphere!

very poor choice of dishes on buffet. tastes are not oozing from any of the dishes. buffet menu seems to be hurriedly put together. lacks novelty n signature of being turqish in rixos.

it's almost a year since i last went to this restaurant with friends so i'm not sure if things have changed but still i would share my experience. the drive to rixos is particularly long as it's the last property on the palm crescent. on a pleasant evening we opted to sit outside since the weather was nice and we also wanted a smoking area but we're disappointed as there was renovation underway and the place was temporary covered with plastic sheets. anyhow we had no other choice. barely a couple of minutes after we had settled on our table a metre long pan/ grill was set on our table on top which was an amazing turkish pizza with minced beef and onions etc. amazing taste to say the least. the live pasta , pizza and shawarma stations served the preparations according to everyone's taste . i remember trying grilled fish as well as steak and liking it too. i would want to go again simply for their pizza and hoping to get the lovely waterfront view reminiscent of a similar meal on the bosphorous.

this year i went to the ramadan buffet at al la turca and as the name would suggest, it is a turkish restaurant. the atmosphere was nice, the dining chairs could of been a bit more comfortable. they have outdoor seating which would be nice during the cooler months. the restaurant staff were tentative and happy to assist. 
moving onto the food, the antipasti selection was great and the desserts were in abundance making the selection hard. main courses were delicious, especially the ouzi but nothing set them apart from any other restaurant of their caliber. overall on the fence for a return visit.

i and my friends decided to try out the iftar buffet here after recommended from one of big foodie,
the ambience is pleasant and very nice ,
they have live stations like , pasta,pizza and turkish shawrma and more dishes ( ouzi, lasagna , duck, kabab,potatoes , and more
the turkish shawrma was fantastic
the dessert was very good
the staff were warm and welcoming and very efficient
i recommended to each one
