unique weekend experience with extensive selection of traditional anatolian dishes along with turkish entertainment. we were excited upon receiving and invite from rixos the palm to experience their newly launched saturdaybrunchin a la turca restaurant. it is resort’s main restaurant and has a buffet concept that serves a variety of international cuisines including authentic turkish cuisines with delicacies such as grills, kebabs, and mezzes from eastern anatolia, the aegean and the black sea

very delicious and spacious restaurant. it’s a buffet style restaurant and served plenty of different dishes. the salad section is great with many choices. there are different live stations including pasta section. additional to the different dessert sections there is a separate fruit section. the service is very polite and fast. the view is brilliant. there is an option to stay indoors, semi outdoor and indoors. additional to breakfast, lunch and dinner, they have a fridaybrunchwith is excellent. it’s the third time i have visited this restaurant.

what can i say about a la turca! just one year ago it was my favoritebrunchspot or any weeknight buffet spot... however in last year the quality has just come down significantly! the grilling station with poor selection, the salads that used to be heavenly are just average, the cheeses that used to be very turkish are now just the usual you find in any buffet, desert (no comment).... even the cooked authentic dishes seem to have lost some points in authenticism and quality preparation.... this restaurant may surely find its way back to my favorites but based on last three tries the trend has been very clearly negative. still very good service and a solid lahmajun. i hope it gets back to its days of glory!

it’s a goodbrunchplace situated in rixos the palm. it’s a mix of all type of cuisines. it’s a buffet place.
-ambiance: good ,comfy atmosphere. live music. comfortable seating arrangements.
-staff: excellent, kept on serving refreshments. always inquired of anything we wanted. good host.
- food: its a buffet place, there were all kind of cuisine like italian pasta, pizza, indian curries, arabic grill , pan cakes , lots more. in the dessert there were variety of cakes, pudding, kunafa, turkish ice cream etc. the list can go on. i did try for the first time oysters and it was good. in terms of food ,it could improve.
i would recommend this place.

i visited a la turca with a bunch of friends to celebrate one of their birthdays, and we went for the friday brunch.

the buffet spread is huge with a lot of different cuisines to pick from, and most of the dishes that i had were pretty good. they also have a love grill station outdoors, where you can pick your cut of meats and they’ll cook it for you within 10 minutes. the dessert spread is also quiet vast, but none of the things were exceptional. they have a live kunafa counter, which i really liked.
the ambiance in the restaurant is super lively, the staff are really friendly, and there is live music too.

we dined in with the groupon vouchers, so thebrunchwas really good value for money.

went for thebrunchwith some friends last friday and i was mind blown. the place is just brilliant. the massive buffet was filled with delicious and interesting choices, the staff was super friendly and the ambience is perfect for a chilled afternoon. the live band and the lovely views are just a cherry on top.

i explored a fantastic place tobrunchat - a la turca serves not only authentic turkish cuisine but also a variety of international cuisines. they have some amazing delicacies like grills, kebabs and mezzes, entire seafood counter, live pasta station, multiple dessert counters and so much more!
the food was delish, but what i fell in love with the most was the beautiful ambience and the hotel - it's one of the best i've been to yet! even the drive up to the hotel along the board walk is so beautiful! they even have a shaded terrace which is the perfect setup for the current dubai weather!
they desserts look so beautiful and delicious! i think my favourites were some of the middle eastern delicacies like the basbousa - it was perfectly spongy and moist. they have soo much to choose from - i couldn't try them all even after filling up 2 plates.

when in dubai two words “brunch” and “weekend” appear together in the same sentence every where. and now fridays are no longer the only popularbrunchday here, infact saturday brunches are more popular with so many luxurious hotels like  hosting lavish brunches.


so last saturday we had ourbrunchwhich was actually a feast all the way from the land of baklava-  turkey. a la turca hosts abrunchevery saturday giving you a taste of most delicious turkish food along with some poupluar international dishes like curries and pastas.


the buffet starts with a fresh fruit juice counter takes you to middle eastern must have  dips like hummus and baba ganoush to name a few and to the salads where i had my favourite fattoush salad . and then takes you to the bread counter where its not just pita bread that you can use to scoop up the  chickpea delights – the bakery section is huge with so much to choose from.

it then takes you to the main courses with having traditional sweets and live pasta counters in the center. basically its you in the center surrounded with every kind of food . further it takes you to a counter similar to a traditional fruit stall and then to chocolate fountain and to desserts and to my most favourite part of thebrunchthe turkish choclate ice cream served in their typical fun filled style that we see around jbr and many tourist places in dubai.


what makes thisbrunchspace very different is that inside the restaurant you have hues of traditional middle east and as you see out you have a gorgeous beach set with families having a good holiday time making you feel like you are actually on holidaybrunch.
