unique weekend experience with extensive selection of traditional anatolian dishes along with turkish entertainment. we were excited upon receiving and invite from rixos the palm to experience their newly launched saturday brunch in a la turca restaurant. it is resort’s main restaurant and has abuffetconcept that serves a variety of international cuisines including authentic turkish cuisines with delicacies such as grills, kebabs, and mezzes from eastern anatolia, the aegean and the black sea

went there last week with family for a dinner buffet. the place is beautiful specially if you sit outdoor, the food however was a bit disappointing to me this time, a lot of thebuffettrays where empty and took plenty of time to refill, the food i tried was really good but they definitely need more variety, and the dessert was below average. overall the place is not bad.

having our 'staycation' at rixos, we opted to have a half-board meal plan to our room as you know that the hotel is located on the very end of the palm. so we chose to have the breakfast and dinner. going down on the lower ground floor of the hotel, you will find them on your left downstairs, and while you are still outside of the door, you can imagine that the restaurant has a huge selection of foods. and we are correct indeed! turkish foods are so tasty! the dinnerbuffetis carefully laid out, and the staff are so wonderful assisting you all the time. for our breakfast, we opted to sit outside as the sitting area is amazing and relaxing. and as it turns out, the guy who is assisting us in everything we need is the manager himself! which i found it so humble of him, he doesn't act like he's a manager at all. walking casually, cleaning up the tables, so humble of him. this restaurant must i say is a wise choice for abuffetthat you should not miss trying.

came here for lunch on a regular weekday. have to say i would not come again. it's too far away a drive to come out here specifically. if you live here then okay maybe.
i didn't find any innovative dishes and the few items that were turkish were definitely not the best.
for hot dishes, i found lots of side items and not much meat/fish. the doner was average and the kofta was undercooked.
the desserts should have been chilled, chocolate and mousse was melting.
bread buns were disappointing too.

sadly, i wouldn't recommend this for yourbuffetcravings. there are surely better spots to overeat on the palm.

beautiful and excellent ambience. thebuffetspread is out of this world. excellent quality of food, mouth watering kebabs on the grill, superb hospitality and service and pretty easy on the pocket.

during our stay at rixos we enjoyed the spread of thebuffetfor breakfast lunch and dinner a number of times. the food was high quality and we were well taken care of by mr. shiba, yusuf, mohammed. their fresh grills and meats section was amazing and we got to try out some turkish and eastern european cuisine
with the all inclusive package, we also got a varied selection of alcoholic beverages and drinks which were amazing.

one of the most lovely restaurant i have visted in dubai. excellent buffet. variety of salads. u can pick fresh meat and shish taouk and grill it in only few minutes. dessertbuffetis one of the best in dubai. friendly stuff and professional managers

very delicious and spacious restaurant. it’s abuffetstyle restaurant and served plenty of different dishes. the salad section is great with many choices. there are different live stations including pasta section. additional to the different dessert sections there is a separate fruit section. the service is very polite and fast. the view is brilliant. there is an option to stay indoors, semi outdoor and indoors. additional to breakfast, lunch and dinner, they have a friday brunch with is excellent. it’s the third time i have visited this restaurant.

what can i say about a la turca! just one year ago it was my favorite brunch spot or any weeknightbuffetspot... however in last year the quality has just come down significantly! the grilling station with poor selection, the salads that used to be heavenly are just average, the cheeses that used to be very turkish are now just the usual you find in any buffet, desert (no comment).... even the cooked authentic dishes seem to have lost some points in authenticism and quality preparation.... this restaurant may surely find its way back to my favorites but based on last three tries the trend has been very clearly negative. still very good service and a solid lahmajun. i hope it gets back to its days of glory!

a la turca menu has a lot to offer andbuffetis huge. you can choose your raw meat and it has a grill station outside where you can decide if you want your meat to be cooked on point or not.
a bit disappointed by desserts but it worths going back again.

it’s a good brunch place situated in rixos the palm. it’s a mix of all type of cuisines. it’s abuffetplace.
-ambiance: good ,comfy atmosphere. live music. comfortable seating arrangements.
-staff: excellent, kept on serving refreshments. always inquired of anything we wanted. good host.
- food: its abuffetplace, there were all kind of cuisine like italian pasta, pizza, indian curries, arabic grill , pan cakes , lots more. in the dessert there were variety of cakes, pudding, kunafa, turkish ice cream etc. the list can go on. i did try for the first time oysters and it was good. in terms of food ,it could improve.
i would recommend this place.
