my wife and i had an excellent experience at zuma last night. the sashimi andsushiwas extremely fresh, the scallops and lamb were cooked perfectly, and my wife almost fell out of her chair after taking a bite of one of their signature deserts. the saki sommelier help us picked just the right bottle for what we were ordering. the pricing was adequate for what we received. besides, you get what you pay for! we will be returning soon.

my most favorite buffet. let me start by saying i hate buffets. but if zuma was the benchmark for a buffet, i would alter my dislike to delight. the most incredible food experience was a zuma's brunch buffet. words can't describe the experience, check it out for your self. the food was delicious, the oysters andsushiphenomenal, the hot rice pot with mushrooms to die for and the chilled champagne kept coming and i was loving every minute of it. i will return for sure.

this restaurant is situated at the edge of brickell avenue, overlooking the miami river. it features indoor & outdoor seating, an open robata grill kitchen and asushibar. it has quite a unique atmosphere…the first time i entered this place i thought that the decor was the epitome of a contemporary and sophisticated food destination. they specialize in modern japanese cuisine served “izakaya” style which means that food items are usually shared by everyone at the table. i was with mr. h, my infamous dining companion, and we ordered the rock shrimp tempura with lime and chile mayonnaise (ebi no tempura) as an appetizer, followed by a mixed leaf salad and pork loin from the robata grill. while gazing out the window at the boats cruising the miami river, the rock shrimp tempura arrives. they looked and smelled fantastic. the tempura was hot, hot , hot and tender, each bite igniting a volcanic explosion of flavor in my mouth. i had never tasted anything like this before. defin

much of the food was quite tasty, some was just average. but none of the food was worth the price. not even worth half the price, really. memo to rich folks: go tosushisiam then donate 100 bucks to charity. you'll spend about the same and have better karma.
