zorba's

it was team lunch and we chose this restaurant to celebrate our colleagues b’days. it was a greek and italian restaurant offeringgreatdishes. it was quite empty. we got the table back at the restaurant. i must say our server was well courteous, patient and ready to answer whatever silly question we asked. we ordered 7-8 dishes which includes following

homemade lamb burger-i had it and i must say it was a big chunk of fat lamb juicy patty. quite delicious

buffalo chicken sandwich- it was also good

chicken shish kabab- first i wanted to try this, but one of my colleagues had it and he said it was good.

other folks had steak & cranberries salad, tuna, fish chips, falafel wrap and other dishes and it was all good. only thing was after order, they took almost 40 minutes to serve. never mind food was good and we enjoyed it.

yup one more thing- we ordered from the lunch menu and all item was under $10 so it was well under budget so definitely recommended for lunch and we would definitely come back for lunch.

super tasty food withgreatservice and prices. i am from new york city and travel south to nc and ga for business. found out about zorba's thru a friend, and made a stop on the way. what a treat! if you like shell fish, try muscles. you won't regret! specialties such as stuffed grape leaves, and hummus are yummy too! i love meat so their new kebap additons were one of my favorites. my wife had salmon and it was moist, nicely seasoned! very good! for desert, i suggest zorba's home made tiramisu. these guys know what they are doing!
when you addgreatservice and super reasonable pricing, this place is a must even for some spoiled new yorker!

deliscious....had the mossaka. it was very good.
my daughter had the pesto chicken.

environment: very clean. large booths. feels very roomy. the play traditional greek music.

food: love it. large portions. for locals. i'm sure you'll have a lot to take home.

customer service: excellent. my daughter and i are traveling thru. she was not very hungry and the portions were huge. she loved her dish and they asked if we wanted to take food home. we told them no. because we at traveling. so the manager approached us and assumed she did not like her food and offer to give her any meal on the house. we assured him we loved the food and we were traveling. as a business owner i appetitegreatcustomer service.

this place is ok but not worth what you are paying. my 2 guests got very big portions and it tasted great. so, they had agreatexperience. the first time i went i got lasagna, which tasted like they used ricotta that wasn't mixed well or cottage cheese. honestly i'm pretty certain it was cottage cheese and cottage cheese has no place in lasagna. the next time i went i got a gyro. there was only 4 pieces of meat on my gyro that was $14! maybe someday i will give them another chance because as i said before my friends liked it and they want to go back.

great comfort food,greatservice. we go once or twice a month and come away wondering why we don't go more often. huge portions, generous drinks, freshly prepared dishes!

very impressed. i just went to zorba's for the first time after seeing the positive rating. this restaurant not only does not disappoint but exceeded my expectations. first off, the ambiance is great. it really looks like a nice restaurant, and the music is upbeat and softly playing in the background. it isgreatfor a date night or an enjoyable evening with a group of friends. the service is also amazing, very polite, there when you need them, and they don't pressure you to box up your food before everyone is done eating. i had the dolmades avgolemono, which is meat and rice wrapped in grape leaves and covered in a creamy lemon and chicken flavored soup and it was amazing! if you are not feeling that adventurous, that's okay too! my companions had a gyro plate and chicken shis kebabs which were also incredibly delicious. it is also very reasonably priced and the portions are quite large.

once again... another fabulous meal. all the years i've been coming here, this is the first time i've gotten pizza.ummmm yummmm. i'm a fan of the chicken saltimboca. the service isgreatas usual. i've never had a bad experience here. love it!!

not agreatnight.. my friends and i went to zorba's on a girls night out. we knew it was going to be pricey, but we had heard that the food was good so we stuck it out. the service was great, as we were one of 3 tables filled, but the food was only mediocre and not worth the price. at all. plus, they charged us an extra two dollars when my friend asked for an extra plate! the entrees are huge, so we were going to share; i mean, it was a family sized meal on the plate, but it's an extra 2 dollars for every person you share with. that took an already huge price (14 dollars for a plate of spaghetti with barely-there meat sauce) to a whopping 18 dollars. eighteen. when we added another entree, it came out to 30 dollars total, without the tip or any drinks. we had water. we were incredibly disappointed; for that price, we could have gone somewhere much nicer and gotten food that tasted better than what we could have made at home. not to mention that the salads tasted old and packaged. the only thing i enjoyed were the rolls, of which you get three. no matter what your party size. i asked. the whole place was very dark, which could have been intimate except for the football games playing at the bar where the owners were drinking. we will certainly not be going there again!

really a nice atmosphere and good food. notgreatfood but good. the chicken marsala, wrong item to get there so partially my fault, was just ok but hummis wasgreatand wine selection pretty good. atmosphere is nice for a weekday dinner

zorba's is great!. zorba's is agreatrestaurant. i highly recommend it, the food is fantastic you can get anything from pizza to pasta! try it out if your in the area!

great time!. originally went to the greek festival in richmond but too crowded. someone told us about zorba's in the west end. had to try it for their greek food. had agreattime. place was packed but had no problem with our service. everything was great, food,service, people there making us feel welcome. would deffinately go back. it has now become one of our best places to eat. the food presentation was fantastic. can't wait to go back and try some of thegreatlooking food i just had no room for. prices were much better than we thought we were going to pay.more enough food and the fresh baked bread a real treat.
